Granada (Funky Granada)

さて、朝起きましたがまだモロッコに行くか考え中。とりあえず、今日マラガに行ってもいいのですが、情報収集が不足しているので、もう1日グラナダで過ごし調べることにしました。



リョウ君もここからパリに行く予定でしたが、安い飛行機が無いのでもう1泊。朝は2人とも情報収集。マラガ(Malaga)からアフリカ側のメリーヤ(Melilla)まではフェリーは毎日2便しかなく、午後1時に出て午後8時半に到着か、午後9時に出て午前1時に到着なんです。宿やキャンプ場を調べますが、スペイン領メリーヤでは安宿は無いみたいですし、キャンプ場も見つかりません。モロッコ領にはあるんですけど、午後8時半に到着してから国境を越えてからの宿探しはあまりイイ考えではないですよね。

なのでマラガ - メリーヤは止めてアルへシラス（Algeciras)からアフリカ側のセウタ（Ceuta)に渡る方向で考えてます。とりあえず明日アルへシラスまで行って、色々状況を見てから決めたいと思います。

昼飯は久しぶりに自炊。リョウ君とパスタを作っていたら、トモちゃんと出会ったので一緒に昼飯を食べることに。2種類のパスタを作り、満腹!!

We cooked pasta for lunch. While cooking we met a Japanese girl Tomo, so we invited her to have lunch with us. We made 2 kinds of pasta, and we ate too much!

















彼女も明日アルへシラスに行く予定なので、アルへシラスで再会できるかな。

3人でテラスで話していたら、オランダ人サリーナ、アメリカ人ジェフ、ニュージーランド人ティナと夕飯を作ることになり、皆でスーパーまで買い出し。ジェフの言い出しでタコスを作ることになりました。

本格的に炭火で肉を焼きます。担当はジェフ。

Jeff was in chrge of cooking meats. We cook the meats with charcoal.

さて、明日は移動です。まぁ、270キロ足らずの距離なので、まぁ、楽ですね。

I will ride to Algeciras. It would be around 270km, so it would be an easy one.

Day 690: 2012年6月17日

Granada (Funky Granada)

さて今日はアルハンブラ宮殿にリョウ君と行く日です。8時半からの開園なので8時過ぎに宿を出て歩きます。

I went to Alhambra with RYo today. As it was open from 8:30am, so we left the hostel around 8am.

坂を登っていくのですが、途中靴磨きのおじさんが「アルハンブラはこっちだ」と教えてくれるのですが、小遣いをねだって来ます。朝早いのに2人もねだって来ました。しかも間違えては無いのですが、別に我々が向かっていた方向でも問題なくアルハンブラに到着できたので（結構目と鼻の先）、逆に引き返したことで時間が無駄になったかも。

We walked up the hills and there were shoe shine men telling us which way to take to Alhambra, but they ask for money instead. The way they showed us was not wrong, but we were almost there and either way we could get to Alhambra.

前日にチケットを購入していたわけですが、アルハンブラの敷地内にはチケットなしで入れたのでちょっとビックリ。しかし、これはイスラム建築、というよりもヨーロッパ、特にルネッサンス時代の建造物なんじゃないですかね??

We bought the tickets yesterday, so we did not line up to buy one this morning, but actually we could not go inside of Alhambra without showing our tickets... The building shown below did not look Arabic, it rather looked more like Renaissance architecture.

















チケットを使って入る部分は9時からの開放、だそうなので、しばらく待ちます。アルハンブラから街を見た風景。

There were some sections where we had to show the tickets and those sections weere opened from 9am. So we waited at the entrance.

















中に入ると、イスラム模様が刻まれています。これこれ、これが見たかったのですよ。

Inside the rooms were decorated with Islamic carving. I wanted to see them!

































天井も星が散りばめているみたいですね。

The ceilings were also decorated. They looked like a night sky with stars.

















確かにここまで彫刻してあると手間隙かかり大変な費用がかかりますね。

It would take long time to carve like these and the cost would be enomous.

















しかし、どの部屋も似たようなデザインなので飽きてしまいました。

However, all the decorations look a like and I got bored after a while.

















池に映る宮殿。写真ではキレイかもしれませんが、実際みると結構汚れてます。

The palace reflected on a pool. In the photo, it looks beautful, but in reality, the pool was prety dirty...






















で、チケットで入れる部分は早々に終了!!　ものの30分も経ってないくらいで見て周れました・・・。しかも、チケット無しで入れる場所にも同じようにイスラム模様の彫刻がある建物あるし・・・。14.30ユーロの価値は??

We finished the "paid" section of Alhambra witin 30 mins or so... And there were some buildings in "free" sections had those arabic carvings. So I was little upset as the ticket cost 14.30 Euros...

その後も博物館（さっきのルネッサンス風の建物）に入ったりしましたが、所蔵品も大したことなく（本当に）、かなりガッカリ。この建物はスペイン王カルロス1世(神聖ローマ皇帝カール5世）が建てたものだとわかりました。やはりワシの思った通りでしたね。

Then we visited the museum of Alhambra in the Renaissance like building. We could go in without showing the ticket (I wasn't sure if it was free or not), and the collections were not really great. But we found out the buildig was built by the king Carlos I (Holy Roman Emperor Karl V). So it was truely built during Renaissance period.

宮殿の上のほうにもチケットがないと入れない場所がありましたが、大したことは無く結局チケットなしでも充分に大差なく楽しめる場所ですね。悪くは無いのですが、なんか期待外れというか・・・。
There was another section (upper garden) requiring a ticket to enter, but nothing was really special. Alhambra, it wasn't that bad, but if I knew, I would not buy a ticket. I could have seen almost the same things without a ticket. It was not as good as I expected.

































一旦宿に戻り、リョウ君が午後からパラグライディングを予約してあったんですけど、宿のスタッフのアンも行くというのでワシも参加することに。80ユーロとちょっと高いですが、まぁ、楽しそうですからね。

We went back to the hostel before lunch time. As Ryo was going for Paragliding in Sierra Nevada this afternoon and Anne the hostel staff was also going, so I desided to join them. It was 80 Euros, little expensive, but it would be a great experience to fly without any motor!

それから昼飯を食べに。ちょっと贅沢して食べ放題（11ユーロ）。味もなかなかで悪くないですよ。リョウ君の巡礼者の道の話を聞いたり、ワシの旅の話をしたり。中国語であれ何って言ったっけ?なんて二人で思い出したり。

With Ryo, I went to have lunch at a buffet restaurant. For 11 Euros, the quality of the foods wasn't bad and we had a good time chatting about our trips. We also reminded ourselves some words in Chinese Mandarin (we both studied Mandrin before, but we forgot almost everything!).

















それから腹ごなしに、街の見晴らし台へ。結構な坂を登りますが、なかなかの景色。街とアルハンブラが一望できます。

After lunch, we walked up to the view point where we could see the city and Alhambra.

































しかし暑い。一旦宿に戻り5時ごろアンが迎えに来るのを待ちます。街のプラザまで歩き、そこから車でシエラネバダ山脈の端っこまで。我々のインストラクターはローマン、フランス人です。スペイン語ペラペラ。

It was a really hot day!! We walked back to the hostel and until 5pm, we waited Anne to pick us up. From a plaza in the city, our instructor, Romain, a French fluent in Spanish and English,  drove us to the endge of Sierra Nevada.

ワシらのほかにカップルがいたので、彼らが先に飛びます。待っている間、こんな写真を撮って遊んでました。

There was a couple before us, so we waited there for a while. So we were taking cool photos like this.






















そしていよいよワシらの番!!　残念ながら、風が良くないらしく、いつもより短いフライトになるので割引してくれると（60ユーロに）。

Then it came our turn! Unfortunately, the winds were not good and Romain reckonned we could not have much airbourne time. So he told us if we could come back tomorrow or he could give us a discount. So we took the discount option.


















飛びます!! おおおーーーーー、飛んでる、飛んでる。ヒツジもサンカクも大喜び!!

We caught a wind, then ran down the hill and took a flight! Wow!!!!! It was amazing feeling actually flying!! Mr. Sheep and Sankaku were very happy too!!

















飛行機とは全く違った感じです。ローマンはワシにコントロールさせてくれて、右へ左へ旋回。バイクに乗るのとちょっと力のかけ方や体重の移動なんかが似ていて楽しい!!　これは病み付きになるかも。

It was totally different feeling than flying on airplanes. Romain let me control the paraglider and I turned left to right, roight to left. It was very exciting. The way controlling the paraglider was similar to the way controlling a motorcycle, so it was interesting to me. It could be addictive and it wouldbe my another hobby!

















最後はローマンに操縦を渡して、アクロバット旋回で地上まで降りてくれました。これはスゴイ!　（写真はリョウ君です）。Then in the end, Romain took over the control of the paraglider. He did acrobatic turning and it was awesome!! Then we landed safely! (the photo shown is Ryo)


















5分くらいしか飛んでいないですけど、充分楽しめました。

I was in the air for 5 mins or so, but it was really really awesome time.

最後にアンが飛んで、終了したのは10時過ぎ（日の入りは9時半）。街まで戻り、リョウ君とタパスを食べて宿に戻りました（アンはアクロバット旋回で気分が悪くなったため家に帰ってしまいました）。

In the end, Anne took a flight and it was already 10pm!! We drove back to the city and

さて、明日は出発するか、どうするか。モロッコに行きたいのですが、フェリーの往復が大体100ユーロで車両保険が60米ドル前後。最長でも3日間しかいれない予定（今後のイギリスまでの日程を考えると）なので、3日のためにちょっと金額が高いですし、日程的にも押せ押せになってしまいます。まぁ、明日起きてから決めますかね。

Day 689: 2012年6月16日

Valencia to Granada (Funky Granada)
67,207km to 67,706km = 499km

今日も快晴。一気にグラナダまで走りますよ!!

It was a sunny day! I will ride to Granada!!

流石米所ヴァレンシア、水田が広がります。向こうに山が見えてイイ感じ。

Valencia is fanous for rice production and orange production. Around the city, there were rice paddies. There were mountains as well, which made a nice scenery.

















そしてオレンジ果樹園も広がってますが、果樹園は壁で囲まれていてバイクを停車させれなかったので写真はありません。

Also there were orane orchards as well. But they were surrounded by the walls, so I could not pull over my bike and take a photo.

カタルーニャ州を過ぎアリカンテ県に入ると風景は岩がちになります。

Leaving Catalunya and entering Province of Alicante, the scenery changed, it became rocky.

そしてアンダルシア州に入ると、めちゃくちゃ気温が上がり暑い!!　山の上に城なんてあって、ちょっと素敵です。

Then once I entered Andalucia, it became really hot!! There was a castle on top of the mountain. Nice.

















グラナダには3時半過ぎにに到着。ここ「ファンキー・グラナダ」は街の中心にあり、しかもガレージが着いているので助かります。

I arrived Granada around 3:30pm. The hostel "Funky Granada" is located at the centre of the city and has a garage, so it was pretty good for me.

ここで日本人徒歩ダーのリョウ君と出会いました。彼は巡礼の道を20キロのバックパックを担いで歩ききったツワモノ。早速アルハンブラ宮殿のチケットを一緒に買いに行きます。途中カテドラルの写真をパチリ。

I met Ryo from Japan who walked all the way of pilgrimage with his 20kg backpack! After checked-in, we went to buy tickets for Alhambra.

















チケットは1人14.30ユーロ。高い気がしますが、まぁ、あのアルハンブラですからね。

It cost 14.30 Euros, it was a little expensive, but it's Alhambra.
街を闊歩する姉ちゃんの団体。なんかのデモですかね??

There were groups of girls marching around the city. I reckoned they were protesting against something.

















リョウ君のビーチサンダルが壊れてしまっているので、ビーサンを探しに街をウロウロ。散々探し回りましたが、お土産屋には無く、スーパーは見つからないしで、苦労します。

Ryo's flip-flops were broken, so we looked for a new pair. But it was hard to find. There was none in thouse souvenir shops and we could not find any supermarket.

















何軒か聞いて周ってようやく、中国人経営の雑貨商を発見!!　ここでビーサンを3ユーロで購入。ブラジルのハバイアナのパッチモンです。ワシのとそっくり!!

After we asked several shops and finally we found a Chinese grocery shop selling one!! He bought a pair for 3 Euros. It really looks like my Havaiana!!

































それからアルハンブラ宮殿を遠目から眺めようとしましたが、何せ暑い。途中まで行ってこんな眺めで満足しました。

Then we wanted to see Alhambra from a distance, but it was really hot, so after seeing it like below, we gave up.


















夜は宿でパエリア。5ユーロで海鮮パエリアです。シェフのお姉さんが調理。

For dinner, we had paella at the hostel. A lady was cooking a big serve of Paella!!

















そろそろ出来るかな??

カリフォルニアから来た女子大生グループとオージーグループ、そしてインド人のチャヴィ、そしてワシら日本人2人で楽しくパエリアをいただきました。

There were girls from California (they were exchange students studying architecture), Aussies, Chuvvi from India and us 2 Japanese on the table.

さて明日はアルハンブラ宮殿を朝から訪ねます。

Tomorrow we will visit Alhambra. I am excited!!

Day 688: 2012年6月15日

Barcelona to Valencia (Devesa Garden Camping)

昨日はなんだかんだで矢田さんに遅くまで色々案内していただきました。これでバルセロナ、思い残すことはないですね。

Mr. Yata took me around till late. Thank you so muh, Mr. Yata. I had a great time in Barcelona!

エスペランサはグラル公園の近くの「アクロポリス・バルセロナ」に駐車させてもらってますが、荷物をそこまで運ぶのが大変なので（たいした荷物ではないのですが）、エスペランサをサクラダの方に持ってくることにしました。

Esperanza was parked at "Acropolis Barcelona" another hostel Mr. Yata owns, so I went there to pick her up and rode her back to "Casa de Sagrada" to put the luggages.

電車でアクロポリスまで行き、矢田さんにお別れを告げて、出発。お世話になりました!

I caught trains to Acropolis and I said good-bye to Mr. Yata.

サグラダにもどり、荷物をエスペランサに積んで先ずはバルセロナ近郊の街タラゴナ(Tarragona)へ。ここにはちょっとした見所があるんです。海岸線でなく山間を走ります。

Back to Casa de Sagrada, and I gotready to leave Barcelona. First I headed to the nearby city Tarragona. In Tarragona, there were 2 places I wanted to visit.

イタリアとは違い、無料の国道でもスペインはガンガン飛ばせます。まぁ、たまにロータリーがあって渋滞してるんですけどね。ロータリーは設定場所によっては絶大な効果を発揮しますが、交通量の多いところで設置すると渋滞を助長するだけだと思うんだけど??

Unlike in Italy, in Spain those toll free highways were easy to ride and I could eat miles. Weill, sometimes there were roundabouts and the traffics got stucked... Those roundabouts, I suppose, are misplaced. If they were placed at the right spots, they would reduce traffic jams, but if they were misplaed, they would create more traffic jams.

しばらくしてタラゴナに到着。ここは海沿いの街、そして、これ。バーーーーーン!!!

I arrived Tarragona soon. Then this was what I wanted to see!!

















ローマ時代の円形劇場（Amfiteatre)。海岸とのコントラストが素晴らしいですね。

An ancient amphitheatrre built by Romans. With the view of the beach, it made that more special.


















それから街外れには、ローマ時代の水道橋「ラス・ファレラス(L'agueducte de les Ferreres)」があります。マドリッド郊外の有名なセゴビアの水道橋に次ぐ大きさだとか。

Just outside of Tarragona, there was another thing I wanted to visit. It was an ancient Roman aqueduct "L'agueducte de les Ferreres". This is the 2nd largest one in Spain after the one in Segovia.


















なかなかのものですね。

It was quite amazing.

















ここでスーパーで買って置いたチョリソーとパンで昼飯を食べて、再び国道をひた走ります。

I had lunch there. I made sandwitch with Chorozo and breads I boght in a supermarket.

途中ドリンク休憩。海岸沿いは碧い海が見えて気持ちいいですね。

I had a drink break near Vinaros. The coastal road had nice views o blue sea, so it was nice to ride through.

















ここからヴィナロス（Vinaros)辺りはビーチリゾートが広がっているのですが、何故か路肩にセクシーなお姉さんが椅子を置いて座っています。大体500メートルに1人でしょうか。試しに停まって何をしてるのか訊いてみたら、ムフフなサービスをしてくれるそうです。生憎写真は撮れませんでした!!

Around Vinaros, there were sexy girls sitting on the road side of the highway around every 500m. I was wondering what they were doing, so I pulled over and asked one of them. And she said she would provide GOOD services. Well, I did not get a service!

ヴィナロスからヴァレンシアまでは150キロくらい。2時間チョイでヴァレンシア市街に。更に南へ走るとなんだかシドニーのオペラハウスもどきがありました。後で調べたらヴァレンシア生まれの建築家がデザインした「芸術・科学都市（Ciutat de les Arts y de des Ciencies)」だそうです。うーん、シドニーのまねにしか見えませんね。

From Vinaros to Valencia, there were around 150km. Around 2 hours later, I was in the city of Valencia. At the south of the city, there was a building looked like Sydney Opera House. I checked later and found out it was a complex of "City of Ars and Sciences" designed by an architect from Valencia. Well, to me, it looked like a imitation of Sydney's.

















5時半頃に今日のキャンプ場に到着。一週間以上ぶりのキャンプですね。キャンプ場にはレストランなども併設してありますが、コース（3種類の前菜にパエリア、デザート）が20ユーロなので（2つ星レストランなので20ユーロは高くは無いかも）、昼間の残りを食べて夕飯終了。ヴァレンシアはパエリア発祥の地らしいので、食べればよかったかな??

I got to a campground around 5:30pm. It's been more than a week since I camped last time. THere was a restaurant on the campground, and a course menu (3 kinds of entrees, Paella and a desert) cost 20 Euros. It got 2 stars, so it might not be expensive for the quality, but I just had left over from lunch. LaterI realised that Valencia is the origin of Paella, so I kinda regreted not to have one there...

















明日はグラナダに向かいます!!

I will head to Granada tomorrow!

Day 686: 2012年6月13日

Barcelona (Casa de Sagrada)

今日はバルセロナ街歩き。1時にロシオと待ち合わせなので、それまで1人で行動。

I explored around the city of Barcelona today. As I had an appointment with Rocio at 1pm, till then I walked around by myself.

先ずは、目と鼻の先のサクラダ・ファミリア（Templo de Sagrada Familia)教会へ。

First, I visited Templo de Sagrada Familia which is just steps away fom the hostel. 

















流石に朝から人出がスゴイ!!

There were tons of people queing up for entering Sagrada Familia!!

















中に入るのには13ユーロもかかるし、この行列。なので諦めました。

As the entrance fee was 13 Euros and I had to line up and wait for a long time, I gave up going inside of the temple.

正面はガウディ存命中に建てられたそうです。彫刻が凝ってます。

This side (eastern side) was built while Gaudi was alive. Those sculpures were carved in detail.






















が、背面は彫刻が簡素、というかモダン。こちらは最近建てられたとか。予算の関係で簡素化したのか、当初からこういうデザインだったのかは知りません。が、ワシはこちらの彫刻の方が好きです。

However, the oppsite side, those sculptures were simpler or more modern. This side was built recently. I wasn't sure if it was designed like this from the begining or jus due to lack of the fund. Anyway, I liked the sculptures of this side better.

















建築が始まってからすでに100年以上たっているそうです。基本的に予算が足りないから工事が遅れてるんでしょうね。ガウディーは「自然界には直線が無い」と言って曲線を多用しますので、余計コストがかかります。

It's been more than 100 years since the construction began. It is taking such a long time due to lack of funds, I suppose. As Gaudi said "There is no straight line in nature", he used lots of curves in his architectures. That is why it would cost so much and it takes such a long time to complete.

まだ待ち合わせには時間があるので、近くの市場（Mercat)に行って見ました。肉屋、魚屋、八百屋など食品店が並んでます。やっぱり、市場は楽しいですね。

As I still had time before the appointment, I went to a local market. There were muchers, fishmarkets, vegitable stores etc in the market. I like visiting markets. It's very interesting to see local stuffs.

















ハモン・イベリコ（Jamon Iberico)など日本では高級食材が普通にぶら下ってます。美味そう!!　蹄が付いてるのがポイントです。

In a bucher, Jamon Iberico and other Parma Hams were hunged. These are really expensive in Japan (and Australia). They looked really tasty. Yum.

















で、1時にロシオとサグラダ・ファミリアで落ち合って、街散策。先ずはガウディ建築のカサ・アシア（Casa Asia)を訪れます。数あるガウディ建築ですが、ここは無料で中には入れるんです。流石バルセロナ在住のロシオ。

Then I met Rocio at 1pm at Sagrada Familia, and we walked around the city. First, she took me to Casa Asia - built by Antonio Gaudi. Other architectures of him would cost some to enter, but this one was free admission! A good job, Rocio.


















アジアというだけあって、ところどころにアジアのモチーフがあり。しかし、これでしょう。ハイジです。なんで?って感じです、が、ハイジです、世界中で有名です。

As the name shows Casa Asia has hints of Asia everywhere. But this was a big surprised for me. A picture of Heidi. Yes, the famous Swiss story but this picture is from Japanese cartoon of Heidi.






















そして違うガウディ建築のアパート。こちらは見学優良なので、外観だけ。

After Casa Asia, we visited another apartment done by Gaudi. Here wasn't free amission, so we just saw it from outside.

and went to the harbour,

















ランチは軽食屋でハモン・イベリコの入りパンを食べたり。

and we had lunch at a snack bar. I had sandwitches of Jamon Iberico, chorizo and so on. They were good.

















カタルーニャ音楽堂（Palau de la Musica Catalana)。これはガウディじゃないです。リュイス・ドメネク・イ・ムンタネー（Lluís Domènech i Montaner）作。ガウディの先生らしいです。なるほど作風が似てますね。

This is Plau de la Musica Catalana - built by NOT Gaudi, by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, who was the teacher of Gaudi. No wonder there were some similarities between their styles.

















凱旋門。ロシオ曰くナポレオンのものらしいです。

The gate of Triumph. According to Rocio, it was built by Napoleon.

















シウタデリヤ公園（Parc de la Ciutadella)には大噴水があったり。

Finally we visited Parc de la Ciutadella. There was a big fountain. Nice.

















ロシオは6時に大学のミーティングがあるのでここにてお別れ。ロシオのお陰で楽しく街散策できました。

Thanks to Roico, I had a great time walking around the city.

しばらく街を歩いて宿に帰ります。夕飯はまたまたオーナーの矢田さんが作ってくださいました。色々歓談し夜は更けていくのでした。

I walked around the city a bit and went back to the hostel. He cooked me dinner again. So nice. We had dinner together and talked till late.
