昨日の夜に富永地図キューバ版を読んでたんですけど、ツーリストカードが無いと飛行機に乗れないし、乗れたとしても入国を拒否されると書いてあるんですね。まぁ、それは周知の事実なのですが、以前にワシが乗るコパ・エアーのオンライン・チャットで空港でツーリストカードはもらえるし、費用は航空券代に含まれてるという答えを得たんです。でもオーストラリアでもそうですがオペレーターの答えを鵜呑みにしてはいけないんですね。
そこで昨日の夜気になってもう一度オンライン・チャットをしたんですが、コールセンターで確認しろと・・・。

で、朝一にコールセンターに電話をしたんですが、キューバのツーリストカードはボゴタでないと手に入らない。空港では配ってない、との返答！何ィイイイィイイぃぃいいいいぃい!!!!って感じです。メデジンからのチケット売っておいてツーリストカードはボゴタでは無いでしょう！って返したんですが、埒明きませんね・・・。コインが無くなって電話は切れました。

ツーリストカードはキューバ行きのチケットを売っている旅行代理店でも扱ってるので、クラウディア（クライディーではないです。女将のクラウディアです）に近くに旅行代理店はないかと聞いて早速行くことに。
井戸さんは天気は悪いですが雨は降ってないので出発することに。出発の準備を進めています。
「直ぐに戻るから」と旅行代理店から帰ってくるまで待っててもらうことに。

スーパーExitoでもう少し詳しい場所を取得して（店員さんが英語で説明してくれました）旅行代理店を発見。「ツーリストカードを買いたいんだけど」と訊いたら、「ツーリストカードは航空券と一緒になってるからうちでは売れない」と。「空港でもらえるはずだけどコパ・エアーのオフィスに行け」と親切にオフィスの場所まで教えてくれました。

帰って来て井戸さんを見送ります。彼とはまたどこかで再会できるでしょう。またビリヤードやりましょう、井戸さん！ワシのグチをいつも聞いてくださってありがとうございました。良い旅を！Buen Viaje!!

そしてコパ・エアーのオフィスまで行ってきました。メトロ・エクスペディショネス(Expedicones)駅の近くです。ここの駅を降りて東側に行くとホンダ、ヤマハ、スズキなどのディーラがあります。店の規模も大きいです。さすがバイク先進国コロンビアですね。

コパ・エアーのオフィスに行ったら「ツーリストカードは空港のコパ・エアーのカウンターで買える」とのこと。本当かよ??? まぁ、ここは彼の言うことを信用するしかないでしょう。

帰り道にヤマハのディーラーをのぞいてみるとスーパーテネレ1200が置いてあります。実物を見るの初めてです。早速写真を撮ります。

おっと、ホイールはスポークなのですがBMWとは違う方式ですが真ん中に抜いてないですね。ってことはチューブレスですねタイヤ。シャフトドライブですし、かなりGSを意識してますね。

なかなかイイまとまり方をしてますが、ラジエーターファンが横に付いてるので転倒したらイクなこれ。ガードが必要ですね。シャフトの造りとかもGSのよりはなんか洗練されて無い感じです。乗ってみないことにはわかりませんが、完成度はGSには及ばないんじゃないかなぁ。まぁ、GS乗りなのでGS贔屓な視点になってるのでしょうが。

軽く雨が降ってきました。井戸さん大丈夫かな？宿に戻り荷造り。昼飯を食べた後スーパーに石鹸とか買いに行って、「そうだiPod壊れているから時計がアラームが手元に無いんだ！」ってことを思い出し近くの店でカシオのF-91Wって言うアラーム付きのデジタル腕時計を22,000ペソ（約14米ドル）で購入。これで明日の朝5時に起きれますね。

後はダラダラと宿で時間を過ごします。ちょっとクライディーと話をしたり。まぁ、険悪な別れはしたくないんでこれでいいでしょう。彼女は明日の朝9時ごろここを出ますのでワシが出た後ですね。見送りはしてくれないだろうなぁ。

キューバには高級ホテル以外ではWiFiなんて無いでしょうからPCは持って行きません。ネットカフェは存在するらしいのですが地元民が行列を作ってるとの話なのでメールもチェックできるか怪しいですね。ということで申し訳ございませんが明日から15日くらいブログの更新はありません。まぁ、ツーリストカードが手に入り飛行機に乗れて入国出来たらの話ですが。4月7日にメデジンに戻ってきますので、キューバの日記はそれからアップいたします！乞うご期待!!

Last night I was checking information on Cuba and started to worry about the tourist card. I checked this a while ago on online chat with a Copa Airline operator if I could get it at the airport. And she said I could get it at the airport and the fee was included in the airfare. But I have a few experiences in Australia when I heard "It should be fine", "No worries" and so on, it did not happen as I was told...
So I needed to double check on the tourist card. I tried the online chat last night but the operator this time said I had to call the call centre...

So I made a call to the call centre the first thing in the morning. The operator said, I had to go to Bogota to get one... It would not be handed out at the airport nor there was no place in Medellin I could get... What a... I complained that I heard from another operator on online chat that I could get it at the airport witout fee. But the operator on the phone said there was no way to help me there. And my credit ran out and I had no more coin. What shoud I do now??

As the tourist card should be sold at any travel agency selling air ticket to Cuba, so I asked Claudia where was the nearest travel agency. It should be near Supermarket Exito.

Yutaka decided to leave to day even though the weather seemed to be bad again. I asked him to wait for me a bit till I would come back from the travel agency.

At the travel agency, I was told that the tourist card would be connected with the airticket, so he could not issue one for me. He said I should be able to get it at the airport (but not very sure as he spoke in Spanish) but recommended me to go to Copa Airline office to make sure and told me how to get there. Thanks!

Back to the hostel, I saw Yutaka off. I am sure we will meet again somewhere in South America. We will play pool again, Yuttaka! Buen viaje, mi amigo! Thanks for listening my complaints all the time!!

Then I went to the office of Copa Airline near Metro Exposiciones station. At the office I was told I shold be able to "buy" one at the Copa Air counter at the airport. Now I should believe this....

One the way back, it started to rain. I wondered if Yutaka was doing OK. He should be fine!
Well around Metro Exposiociones station, there were lots of motorcycle dealers, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki etc. I looked into the Yamaha dealer and saw new Super Tenere 1200. It was the first time I saw the real one. I went into the shop and took some photos. The wheels were spoked but the tyres seemed to be tubeless. The design of wheel was different from that of BMW to make it spoked but tubeless, but smart desin. It had a shaft drive and many things were similar to GS. But as a GS owner, to me, by just looking at it, Super Tenere would not be better bike than GS!!

Back to the hostel, I started to pack up stuff for Cuba and had lunch. Then I went to Exito to buy a few things. And I realised that I need an alarm watch. Now my iPod was broken and I had no watch nor alarm clock. I need to wake up early and would need to know time while am in Cuba. SoI bought a Casio watch F-91W for COP22,000 (US$14). It is digital and has alarm function, and it is cheap! Perfect! Now I can wake up at 5am tomorrow. 

At the hostel, I had a few chat with Claydy. Though our relationship is now unfixable now, I did not want to be apart with haterid, so it was good to talk to her.  
 
There would not be any WiFi spot in Cuba (except at those expensive hotels, I guess), so I will not take my laptop to Cuba. And I heard there are long queue for Internet cafe, it would be hard even to check e-mails, so I will update my blog when I come back here on 7th of April. Of course, this is the case if I can get the tourist card and go on the airplane! Till then, have a good time, everyone!

Day 241: 2011年3月22日

昨晩は遅くまで雨が降っていた模様。今朝もどんよりで気分が滅入ります。
クライディーは昨日の彼と朝からデート。彼はドイツ人だそうです。スペイン語は大学で1年勉強してペラペラ。やるなぁ。ワシもキューバでドイツ人のローラと再会するから、面白いものですね。

午後から行こうと思ってたのですが、天気が多少良くなたのでRuta40に行って来ました。今日は昨日と違って人や車の出が多いです。昨日は祭日だったのかな？

Ruta40では英語がしゃべれるカルロス（Carlos)にグローブの返品やタイヤのことを相談。返品は快く受けてくれました。タイヤはキューバから戻ってから買うのでグローブの分をそっちにクレジットしてもらいました。「ウユニ湖からチリに抜ける道だったら、フロントはボリビアで買えるから大丈夫。リヤはツーランスで大丈夫だけど、今のタイヤだとその頃までにトレッドが減ってるから、リアだけ買って持って行くのがイイ」とカルロス。なるほど。「泥道とかダートに入らないのであれば、リアをブロックタイヤにする必要はないし、チリでタイヤは高いからね」と。なるほど、カルロスの言うとおりだと、ここでリアタイヤをスペアとして買って、ボリビアのラパスでフロント（ブロックタイヤ）を買って前後交換。そのままウユニ塩湖、チリへと抜けてフロントが減ってればチリで交換。リアは問題ない、ということです。チリではタイヤがここの2倍するそうなのでフロントだけの交換で済めばその分出費が減るというものです。

紛失したネジはタダで取り付けてくれました。流石Ruta40サービスがイイです。Horizons Unlimitedでみんなが絶賛するはずです。

GSを取りに行った土曜日と今日は店の雰囲気が明るいですし、楽しいんですよ。しかし何故だかわからないんですけど、嫌がるクライディーを連れて行った初日は雰囲気も暗く対応も悪い訳ではないのですが、ビジネスライクだったんですよね。それでクライディーも「だから来たくなかったんだ」て不機嫌になってましたからね。やはりクライディーとは別れる運命だったのでしょう。ワシとしては他のバイク乗りや店の人と出合ってバイクの世界を知ってもらおうっていう試みだったのですがね。

宿に戻りパニアを取り付けて荷物の整理。明後日キューバに行くので出発の準備です。朝9時14分のフライトで空港は街から1時間なので6時前には宿出ないとです。

昼飯を食べてクラウディア（クライディーではないです。女将のクラウディアです）空港行きのバスの時間をチェックしにセントロへ。Ｐａｒｑｕｅ　Ｂａｒｒｉｏ駅の近くに停留場はあります。4時半からあるそうで、大体20分間隔であるそうです。料金は聞き間違えでなければ7,000ペソ。4米ドルくらいですね。

あ、そういえばクライディーとデートしてたドイツ人の兄ちゃんは2時ごろに出て行ってしまいました。残念だねクライディー。

宿に戻りキューバでローラとネットでチャット。英語でのやりとりなので意思疎通も楽チン！お互いの冗談にも笑えますしね。ワシは24日、ローラは25日にハバナに到着予定です。約2週間あのカストロ、ゲバラが青春を燃やしたキューバを楽しみます。

夜は井戸さんとビリヤード。明日朝雨が降ってなければ、井戸さんは出発です。寂しくなるなぁ。
何故だか途中でクライディーも参加。こういして一緒に遊ぶのも最後ですね。まぁ、多少会話もしました。カーゴパンツのヒザの部分がまた破れてきたので、試しに「繕ってくれる？」って訊いたら「もちろん」と。イイとこあるじゃないか、クライディー。今のところまだ険悪ですが別れる時にはやさしく「さようなら」を言いたいですね。

Last night it was raining hard and was raining early in the morning. The rain stopped but the weather was pretty bad this morning as well.
Claydy went out with the European guy (I chat with him and found out he is a German!) from the morning. Well, I have been asking her to get up early and go out to finding out Medellin but she did not. But she can do that with other people. No idea why...

I was thinking to go to Ruta40 in the afternoon, but the weather was getting better, so I went there. T talked with Carlos - speaking fluent English - about the refunding of the gloves and selection of tyre.
He was happily accept the refund and showed me the tyres that I might concider to take as a spare. According to him, it would be a good idea to carry a spare for rear as my current rear tyre would not have tread when I hit Salar de Uyuni. He said I sould be able to find a front tyre for GS. The quesition is whether I hit the dirt hard or not. I would stay on tarmac as much as possible. So he reommended to carry Metzeler Tourance and buy a knobby front tyre in La Paz, Bolivia. As I will come back here in 2 weeks time, I can think about it.

The missing crew was replaced for free! No wonder many people recommend this shop on Horizons Unlimited.

I was glad that I came back here and talked aout the tyre with Calros. I certainly enjoyed the welcome feeling of the staffs the and conversation on motorcycle travelling. I don't know why the atmosphere of Ruta40 was much better when I went there alone. When I took Claydy, there wasn't much "welcome" feeling but rather business like feeling we received. I guess this was because Claydy had already got an idea that she would not have a good time at the motorcycle shop and that made the somewhat bad atmosphere. What I wonted was introducing her to the motorcyle culture and other motorcylists, so that she could enjoy the motorcycle travelling with me more. But it did not work. For that reason, I reckon it was good to be aprt with her.... 

I went to find out the location of bus stop and time table for the airport. The cost is COP7,000 if I heard it correctly. The service starts at 4:30am and every 20mins or so. 

Back to the hostel, I chat with Laura about our trip to Cuba. As I can comminicate with her in English, it is much easier to understand each other. We can laugh at jokes we make! Understanding of languages is really important to have a good time with other people. I will arrived at La Habana on 24th and Laura will be on 25th. It's been 10months since I saw her ast time in Alice Springs, Australia. We are very excited to see again.

In the evening, I played pool with Yutaka. If not raininjg, he will be leaving here tomorrow. I would lose my pool patner and will be sad. 
Claydy joined us later and we played for a while. The left knee part of my pants is ripped again, and I asked her if she could saw it for me. And she said "Of course". Wow, she could be good with me. 

At the moment, we are feeling bad for each other. But when we will be apart for good on 24th, I want to say "Good-bye" in a nice way.

Day 240: 2011年3月21日

今日は部屋を個室からドミ（相部屋）に移るので朝起きたら荷物の移動を始めました。クライディーは昨日の時点で他の部屋に移ってますが。荷物をバイクに移したりしてたらクライディーが航空券を買ったクレジットカードが拒否されたと言って来ました。うーん、何故でしょう。あれこれ話してたら旅行代理店からワシに電話が掛かってきました。「クレジットカードが通らなかったので、フォローアップの電話です」と。カード番号や詳細は合ってるので、クレジットカード会社が拒否したみたいです。もう一枚のカードで清算を頼んだら、今度は通りました。

バイクを見てたらネジが一本無くなっているので（タンクの横のサイドパネルのメタル部分を留めてるネジ）Ruta40に取りに行くことにしました。クライディーに買った手袋も返品しなきゃですしね。

バイクを走らせてたら、どうも道の様子がおかしいんです。高架になってる道路が封鎖されていて、自転車とかが通ってるんです。今日は月曜日なのに、イベントか？Ruta40も閉まってました。うーん、コロンビアは月曜が休みなのか？

宿に戻り洗濯をしてから井戸さんとビリヤード。2人ともかなり上手くなりました。昼飯を食べてまたビリヤード。


宿に昨日から泊まってる若いヨーロッパ人の兄ちゃんがいるんですが、早速クライディーに手を出してます。スペイン語ペラペラなので結構会話が弾んでます。午後になってデートに出掛けましたし、クライディーもワシに面当ての如く楽しそうにしてます。心が痛い・・・。

午後から雨。ずっと雨。ワシのこころを濡らすように。

まぁ、仕方ないですね。ワシにはもう発言権ないですから。嫉妬心はありますが、ここは黙って堪えましょう。キューバが待ってます！

明日はこそはRuta40に行って来ます。タイヤの相談もしないとね。

This morning I gotta move to a dorm, so I packed up stuffs and moved. Claydy had already moved to another room yesterday though. 

When I was putting some stuffs into the panniers, Claydy said "The credit card was delined for the air ticket." Well, that's to bad. While we were discusing, the travel agency called me and I could pay woth another credit card. So she wil be definitey going back to Mexico on 25th Friday. 

When I was checking my GS, I found 1 screw securing the metal part of the side panel was missing. And I wanted to get a refund for the gloves I bought for Claydy (I don't need them now!), so I went to Ruta40. 

What I found strange was there were no many traffic and those main roads were closed for cyclists. It was Monday, but many of shops were closed as well. Why was that? It might be a public holiday??

Well, Ruta40 was closed too. So I went back to Hostal Medellin. 

After laundry, I played pool with Yutaka again. Now we are much players than before. After lunch, played pol again. 

From yesterday, there is an Euroean guy staying at the hostel and now he is hiting on Claydy. She seems to be happy with him and they went out for date. I guess this is her vengence??
Of course I don't feel good to see my ex-girl friend going out with another guy in front of me (and especialy we just broke up!), but she is this kind of person.   
I have no right to say nothing now, so I just have to endure the situation... I will be tough and tougher!!

Tomorow I will go to Ruta40 and check out the tyres as well.

いつも応援してくださっている方々には大変申し訳ございませんが、残念ながらクライディーとは破局しました。こちらに来るに当たっていろいろ話していたのですが、あまり協力しようという気配が見れないので最近毎日真剣に話をしようと試みたのですが、いつもチャラ化すばかりなので遂にキレてしまいました。人が真剣に話をしてるのにチャラ化すのは、ワシは、許せません。元々旅人ではないので仕方ないのかもしれませんが、旅をなめていましたね、彼女は。ワシにもっと包容力があればよかったのですが、まだまだ人間がそこまで出来てません。反省です。

彼女は24日にボゴタへ行き、25日の早朝の飛行機でメキシコに帰ることになりました。せっかくここまで来たのに本当に残念です。

という訳で、またヒツジとの旅になりました。これからも皆さんよろしくお願いいたします！

I rergret to announce that I broke up with Claydy. We agreed to coperate each other before I went to pick her up in Mexico,but in my opinion, she was not really willing to coperate with me. She has been very childish and selfish all the way since she has come to Medellin. Recent few days, I tried to talk to her seriously and get more understanding what she was upto, but everytime she was just joking around. I could not take her attitude... When a person is talking seriously, joking or making fun of it is not an acceptable behaviour, I reckon.

I wish I could accept her as she is still young and new to travelling and foregin country. But I have not developed my mentality so generously as yet.... I also regret this point....

So she will go to Bogota on 24th of March and wil catch a plain on the early morning of 25th. I really really regret that I could not get her understanding and I could not make her happy here.

So I continue my trip with Mr. Sheep. I appreciate your continuing support!

Day 238: 2011年3月19日

今日は朝Ruta40にGSwo受取に行きました。Google Mapで見るとメトロIndustorias駅の近くなのでメトロで行って歩きました。流石に今日は土曜日なので他のお客さんも来ています。コロンビアは関税が高いのでBMWのバイクを乗れる人は本当に富裕層に限られると思いますが、やはりいるもんなんですねぇ。

オイル、オイル・フィルターの交換、コンピュータのチェックなどで約COP300,000(約165米ドルです）。「ステッカーは無いの？」って訊いたら、Ruta40とコロンビアの国旗のステッカーをタダでもらいました。ありがとう！

宿まで戻り買い物行くの待ちますが、今日はNoahが忙しいらしいのでまた明日ということで。井戸さんとビリヤードに勤しみました。井戸さんどんどん上達してるなぁ。勝ったり負けたり。クライディーも途中参加して3人でゲーム。誰が一番ボールを落すかというルール。もう滅茶苦茶ですがワシが2回とも征しました。

スーパーマーケットExitoにて買出し。24日のキューバ行きまでの食料は確保できましたな。夜はクライディーがスペイン語で映画を見始めたのでやることないのでバイクで夜の街を走りましたが、雷がピカピカしてきたので宿に引き返しました。

最近クライディーと旅を続ける自信が持てないのでメキシコに戻ってもらうかどうか考え中です。やっぱり旅はヒツジとのほうがイイわぁ。

I picked up my GS at Ruta40. Checked on Google Map, it is located near Metro Industias station, so I took Metro there. 

The service cost me COP300,000 (About US$165). They changed Engine oil, oil filter, checked the computer etc. I asked if they have a sticker of Ruta40, and they gave me some stickers of Ruta 40 and Colobian flag for free. Thanks so much!

Came back to Hostal Medellin, and we waited for Noah to go gor shopping but he was busy with something, so it was postponed to tomorrow. Then Yutaka and I played pool for a while again. He was getting beter and better. Sometimes he won and other times I won.

Later Claydy joined us and played with another rule. Who gets most balls in the pockets would be the winner. We palyed twice and I won twice!

In the afternoon, we went to Exito to get food stuff. I think we bought too much and would be enough till I go to Cuba. 

In the evening, Claydy started to watch a movie with Noah and Scott, but did not ask me to watch together. So I went for a night ride. But while I was riding on the fringe of the mountains, I saw lightenings. I thought it was about to rain, so I returned (But it did not rain). 

Now I don't have confidence to travel with Claydy, so I am seriously thinking to go solo or not....
