料理教室 / A Cooking Leson
Day 431: 2011年9月29日
Sucre (Hostal Pachamama)

今日は朝から郵便局へ。「税関で引っかかっているのでは？」という可能性を指摘しましたが、「ボリビアにまだ来ていない。」と。局員曰く、「マイアミからボリビアまでの郵便は直航で無いのでまだ途中にあるのでは?」とのこと。うーん、イマイチ説得力が無いぞ。
送り主に問い合わせてみましたが、彼のほうにも米国郵便USPSからの返答は無いとのこと。
今日は先生のルルの都合でレッスンは12時から。仮定法（Modo Conditional Simeple)を。
午後からハイメさんを訪ねに「Motoservi」へ。「まぁ、米国からだと15日くらいかかる場合もあるから、我慢我慢。」だそう。ウベの溶接用の素材はなかなか手に入らないのだそう。「いろいろ問い合わせているんだけどねぇ。」ひとつの方法は、ブエノスアイレスからアルゼンチン側の国境まで発送してもらい、バスでボリビア側の国境までいって徒歩で国境を越えて素材を受け取る、という方法。これは移動が面倒くさいですが、紛失する可能性もないし、税関で引っかかることも無いのでいい方法かも。
宿に戻り早速ウベに報告。ウベのほうもネット上で知り合ったブラジルのアミーゴが無料でUPSで素材を送ってくれると! 上手くいけば来週の頭にも素材が手に入ります。うーん、うらやましい。
5時から学校で料理教室。生徒と先生みんなでスクレの郷土料理（名前を失念）を。鶏肉と玉葱を煮込み、白米、ジャガイモ、パセリを添えます。なかなか美味しい出来上がり。
調理中も食事中も基本的にスペイン語だけで会話なのでスペイン語の練習にもなりましたね。

I went to the post office from the morning. I asked the staff if my package would stuck at custom, but she said the package had not been to Boivia yet. It it was, the central office of La Paz would check it in, and it would be shown on the tracking.
I checked with the sender but he had not heard from USPS at all...
I had the Spanish lesson from 12 noon as my teacher Lulu had another appointment in the afternoon. I learnt "Mode conditional simple" today.
After the class, I went to see Jaime @ Motoservi. He said "From the States by USPS, it would take 15 days or so sometimes, so just be paitient!" He had been looking for the material for Uwe, but it was hard to get the material in Bolivia. One option he suggested was he made an order to Buenos Aires and ship the material to the border. The Uwe would take a bus to the border and walk acorss the border to Argentin side, and pick up the material. With this, the shipping cost would be cheaper and it would be less likely the material to be lost.
I went back to the hostel and told Uwe that. He also got a good news, he found a Brazilian guy on the net and he said he would send the material via UPS free of charge! If it would work, he would receive it by the begining of next week!
There was a cooking lesson @ my schoool "Fenix" this afternoon. All students and teachers cooked a local cuisin. I forgot the name of it but it was pretty good. While cooking and eating, we spoke in Spanish, so it was a good practice session as well.

オーストラリアからブラジルに荷物送ったときは２ヶ月かかりました。 もちろんエアメール。
