寿司!! / Sushi!!

Day 576: 2012年2月23日

Colonia Yguazu (Pension Sonoda)

今日も朝から天気悪し。早朝からキミ君とタケちゃん（ケンちゃん）は朝からイグアスの滝に行きましたが、大丈夫でしょうか?

新しい宿泊者タクちゃん登場。彼はシンちゃんの友人。W田大学生です。

生姜が結構残っているので、豚の生姜焼きでもしようということになり、Supermercado 41に買出し。ピーマンと玉ねぎを添えて。

が、しかし、火力が弱いので、生姜焼き、というよりは生姜蒸し?ていう感じの調理法。がやがやとやっていたら新しい宿泊者トモヨちゃん登場。丁度生姜蒸しが出来上がったので、彼女も一緒にお昼ご飯。これが以外にイイ出来。

昼過ぎから土砂降りの雨。こんな中ウラケン、ノリダー、チカちゃんはシウダー・デル・エステに旅立っていきました。良い旅を!

今夜は「お寿司の日」と勝手にシンちゃんが決めていたので、食材を買いに行きたかったのですが、この雨じゃぁ、ねぇ。が、しかし、アキさんが車を出して生協に連れていってくれました。途中でパチスロ屋に寄ったりして。

食材はアボカド、玉子、キュウリ、海苔、米、ワサビなどなど。宿に戻り、早速仕込みを。照り焼きチキン、卵焼きなどを。寿司酢は園田さんのお母さんが分けてくれました。シャリはマサ君が担当。

アキさんが巻き簾を出してくれたので、寿司を巻き巻き。これはワシが担当。トモヨちゃんも一二本作りました。今日は11人もいるので大量に寿司を巻き巻き。

そして出来は??　うまーーい。アキさんが肉と葱の胡麻和えを作って来てくれました。これも絶品!!　楽しい夕食になりました。キミ君、凄い表情だよ。ウホっ。

が、しかし、タケちゃんの元彼女から預かっているという旅マスコットをシンちゃんとタクちゃんが粉砕・・・。ボンドで一生懸命修復してましたが、酔っ払いなんで、ねぇ。

Day 576: 23 FEB 2012

The weather was not good from the morning. But Kimi and Take went to the Falls of Iguazu. Hopefully they would have a good day.

A new comer - Takuya - arrived at the hostel. He is a friend of Shin and I heard about him from Shin before.

As we had to use left over ginger soon, we cooked "Stir fried pork in ginger sauce" for lunch. As the flame of the stove was not powerful enough to stir fry pork and vegies, it became "steamed pork and vegies in ginger sauce". But the result was pretty good. Another new guest - Tomoyo - just came to the hostel, so she joined us for lunch.

It started rain really really hard in the afternoon. But 3 guests - Chika, Uraken, and Norida left to Ciudad del Este. Have a good trip!

Shin was eager to make sushi tonight. But as it was raining hard still, we could not go to the supermarket. Fortunatelly, Aki - the manager of the hostel - gave us lift to the supermarket. Thanks Aki!

There were 11 hungry stomaches to fill tonight. We made Teriyaki Chiken rolls, Egg rolls, Cucumber rolls, Tuna rolls, Mix rolls, etc. Sushi vinegar was provided by Pension Sonoda! Thanks so much.

We did really good jobs making sushi. Aki made beef and shallot salad with sesame sauce. It was excellent too! It was an awesome night with good friends. Until.... Shin and Takuya broke Eiken's mascott (given by his ex-girl friend)... Eiken and she bought it in Chec republic and she told him to bring it back to her (she was waiting for him in Japan). They just broke up this morning.... So his heart is broken and the mascott is now broken... Poor Eiken....

Shin and Takuya tried to fix it with glue. But as they were really drunk, the end result wasn't pretty.
