Day 434: 2011年10月2日
Sucre (Hostal Pachamama)
41,085km
Mierda...

It's Sunday. The post office was closed and the most of the shops were closed. Uwe and I went to buy Saltenas @ "El Patio" (I bought 2 Saltenas. 6Bs each) and then went to Mercado to get some more Saltenas (3B each). Back to the hostel, we had a big breakfast. As those "El Patio" Saltenas cost twice as much as those Mercado Saltenas, the quality was so much better.
After breakfast, Uwe started to disassembling his KTM, so I was watching him doing that. He wanted to change the head light bulb, but he found out that the socket was burnt because he fitted 100w bulb! When he bought it in Lima, he asked for 55w, but the shop gave him 100w... He fitted without checking the Watt. It was an expensive lesson that in South America, we had to make sure what we got before leaving the shop.
He also took the right hand side fuel tank and so on, preparing for welding the mout of sub-frame.
As we did not get hungry around lunch time, he continued disassembling the KTM. He also found out the rear shock absorber was fitted in other side (the rebund adjuster should be on the right hand side, but it was in the left hand side...). This was done in Bogota, Colombia when it was rebuilt... It works fine, but now he cannot leach the adjuster. So he will ask Jaime to refit the shock properly.
Around 2pm, when I went to the kitchen to make cups of coffee, Martin - a boy working at the hostel - gave me a plate of Chicharon (deep fried portk libs). It was a nice afternoon snack! Thanks, Martin.
It started to rain a bit, so Uwe and I went under the roof, where we chat with 2 Aussie girls. They were very nice!
We started to cook pasta sauce and once it's done, I gave Martin a !Judo" lesson. I am not an expert of Judo at all, but I know the basic. It was goot to do some exercise before dinner.
We played few games of chess before and after dinner. With Julian from France, we talked in Spanish.
Tomorrow is Monday. I will go to the post office in the morning. If I am lucky, it will be there. If not, it might be stuck at Custom, so I mught need to go to the airport.
