今日は神藤井と再会しました。アラメダ公園の屋台で昼飯を食べてソカロまで散歩。アステカダンスを見たり大道芸人を見たり。まさかまたメキシコシティに戻って来るとは思わなかったので、ちょっと感慨深いものがあります。
午後はトクさんとコーヒーを飲みながら歓談。今ペンシオン・アミーゴは男部屋満室だそうです。やるな！何故だがパスちゃんはサボテンをいっぱい買ってきてサボテンだらけだそうです。
夜はメトロ・レボルシオン駅近くのあのスーペルトルタ屋でトルタ！半分でお腹いっぱいです。やはり最近食が落ちてますね。明日は早起きして大使館で必要な書類を取りに行きます。

朝トイレに行きたくて日の出前に起きました。雲海に朝日、綺麗でした！クライディーは横で寝てましたが…。
プエブラを越えてメキシコシティまであと僅かというところでバスのエンジンから煙がもくもく。えぇーっつ、ここで立ち往生はやめてくれよぉ〜。無情にも止まるバス。
しかし30分も経たないうちに修理完了！やるなメキシコ人、というか一体何が問題だったんだ？
タポからメトロでイダルゴ駅まで。サンフェルナンド館はペンシオン・アミーゴのライバル宿。値段が高いので宿泊客はちょっとハイソな感じ。
さてメキシコシティに着いたものの今日は土曜日大使館はやってません。日本の両親に戸籍謄本を在メキシコ日本大使館にファックスしてくれるように連絡。まあ、我が両親もいきなり結婚にはビックリです。できればクライディーもワシももう少しお互いを理解してから結婚を考えたいのですが…。どうにかならないものでしょうか？ クライディーのご両親、説得できないかなぁ。でもスペイン語がそこまで出来ないから、なかなか説得は難しいだろうなぁ。

I woke up before the sunrise. I could see the amazing sunrise this morning. The mountain, the sea of cloud beneath us, and the sunrise. Beautiful. Claydy was sleeping and missed the amazing view though....
Passed Puebla and we were just less than 1 hour away, but suddenly black smoke came out from the bus... Oh no, please don't break down here! But the bus stopped.
Luckily it was repared in 30 mins. Mexican job is great! But not sure what was wrong???
Arrived Tapo (East Autobus Terminal of Mexico City) and we took Metro to Hidalgo. We checked in Hostel San Fernand, the raival hostel of Pension Amigo. This hostel is newer but more expensive. We took a twin room and cost US$26 a day. Those gusts seem to me tidier than those of Pension Amigo.
As it's Satarday today, Embassy is closed. I contacted my parents in Japan to fax my birth certificate to Embassy so that I can get the things done first thing in the morning next Monday. But my parents were, of course, surpprised by what is happening between Claydy and I.
Claydy and I also want to take more time before marriage. Just we need to get married for a permission from her parents. Something is wrong here, isn't it!? We don't like the idea...
I wish I could speak Spanish better, so I could persuade her parents in better way...
Well, we are here in Mexico City, D.F. We went for a walk in Alameda Park and around. But we were tired spending a night in the bus, so we went to sleep early.

Paredón to Mexico City

今日は朝から忙しいです。パレドンの村役場に結婚に必要な事項を聞きに行きましたが、流石に外国人との結婚は分かりかねるとの事なのでトナラの市役所まで行かなければならなくなりました。
従姉妹の車を借りてお父さんとクライディーとワシで役場に行きます。どうも出生証明書と国からの許可証、それにパスポートが必要だそうです。出生証明書と許可証は大使館及び領事館で発行してくれるそうです。(後で分ったのですが、出生証明書は日本大使館で発行してくれますが、許可証はメキシコ政府の許可証で、発行に3ヶ月かかる場合もあるとか・・・）
家に戻り早速在メキシコ日本大使館へ電話。出生証明書を発行するのには戸籍謄本が必要だとのこと。ファックスでも構わないとのこと。これは助かりますね。
そうとなれば、早速メキシコシティまで戻ることにしました。再びトナラへ戻り夜行バスのチケットを購入。ギリギリ5時15分のバスに間に合いました。写真はトナラのとある店の出来損ないBIMBO。
バスはちょいと遅れて5時半過ぎに出発。この間と同じ2等バスですが、ボロい…。途中の検問で全員降ろされて麻薬犬まで登場してバスを検査。結局なにも出ませんでしたが。
ワシらの前にグアテマラ人カップルが座っていたのですが、次の検問で降ろされてそのまま置き去りになってました！何故なんだろう!? 可哀相に。
夜になると流石に冷えます。しかしボロバス、窓の閉まりが悪くて隙間風が寒い！まあ、座席のスペースは悪くないので結構寝れましたけどね。
さあ、明日は久しぶりのメキシコシティです。訳あってペンシオン・アミーゴには泊まれないので、サンフェルナンド館に宿泊です。

Paredón to Mexico City

From the morning we were busy. We went to the local office at Paredon to ask what we need to get married. But at the local office, they were not sure what are required for a foreigner to get married to Mexican. So we went to Tonala to get information.
Her dad drived us to the office in Tonala and asked what are required. What I need to present to the Mexican government are 1. Birth Certificate, 2. Permission from the Government, and 3. Passport. To get the birth certificate, I need to get it from Embassy or Consulate of Japan, which are only located in Mexico City, D.F.
So we decided to go to Mexico City together. The earlier the better, so we decided to leave this afternoon. We went back to the house and pack up our stuffs and came back to Tonala to get a bus to Mexico City. Luckily we could get on 5:15pm bus.
The bus is old but the space between each seat is not bad. So we could have a comfy ride.
We were stopped by a military check point and everyone was asked to get off from the bus. A sniffer dog was brought into the bus and cheked thouroughly. But they could not find anything.
Then we were stopped by a police check point. The couple in front of us are Guatemalan. Not sure why, they were asked to get off the bus and the bus left them there.... What's going on???
In the evening, it got colder and colder. The window did not shut well and the wind blowing in and was so cold!!
We will be Mexico City in the morning. Due to some reasons, we cannot stay at Pension Amigo, so we booked a room at Hostel San Fernand.

Day 180: 2011年1月20日
San Cristobal de Las Casas to Paredón

今日は朝7時前に起きてカタオカさんとNaoを見送ります。 大体10時を目処に出発の準備をします。今回はクライディーがバイクに長距離乗るの初めてですし、ワシは病み上がりですし、荷物はいっぱいなのでちょっと緊張します。
10時過ぎに皆に見送られながらカサカサを後にします。ここから2人の旅が始まります。目指せパレドン！ ナビは何故だか東に大きく迂回し国境沿いを南下してトナラまで西に進むように指示してますが、それでは遠回りです。どうもトナラパレドン辺りの地図が上手くロードできないみたいなんですね。 まあ、来た道をトゥクストラまで戻って進路をそのままアリアガ方面に取ればいいのでナビはそれ程必要ないですね。
とりあえずサンクリの市街地を抜けるのに多少時間がかかりました。 クライディーもバイクに直ぐ慣れたみたいですし、彼女軽いので気になりません。高速道路に入る頃にはワシの感覚も戻って来ました。でもあまり飛ばしすぎないように抑えてはしります。
トゥクストラまで約1時間。市街地でちょっと迷ってナビの力をかりました。本線に戻り一気に190号を西へ。アリアガ、トナラと過ぎればパレドンは直ぐそこです。あー、一ヶ月ぶりの光景ですね。
クライディーの実家の庭にバイクを停めて、ご両親に挨拶。疲れを癒す間もなくクライディーはお父さんと相談。その後お母さんも参加して家族会議。ワシは弟のイサクと連れの子供たちと遊んでました。 彼女がワシと旅を行く為にご両親が決めた条件は「結婚」です。やはり来ましたね、その条件。これはかなり重いですね…。どうする旅人!? ワシもお父さんから色々質問を受けてできないなりにもスペイン語で話します。英語並に話せたらなぁ。まあ、一日じゃお互いの分かり会えないですし、ましてスペイン語ですからもどかしい。でも最後の方は冗談とか言ってきましたし、クライディーに似て明るいお父さんです。
夕方にクライディーの叔父さんの家に行ってバイクを駐車させてもらうことに。途中村人の注目の的になってしまいました。やはりGSは珍しいと見えてかなりの人集りに。なんか照れるなぁ。 夜も色々話してお互いの理解を深めます。娘を世界一周に出すのですから、そりゃあご両親としては結婚して欲しいでしょうね。問題は時間です。コロンビアまでの船は2月16日にパナマ出航なのでもう3週間しかないんですよ。一体結婚するのに8日間かかると言ってますし、それはメキシコ人同士のはなしでしょうし、あーあ、計画が立ちません。明日役所に聞きに行くってことで今日は話がまとまりました。

San Cristobal de Las Casas to Paredón

Today Claydy and I have to be at her place in Paredón to see her parents for the permission to go around the world together.
Kataoka-San and Nao left to Xela, Guatemala at 7am. Then I started to puck up stuffs. Now there are two people on the bike, I need to make more spaces for her and her stuff. We got ready by 10am. Said good-bye to everyone at Casa Kasa and left San Cristobal. By the time we got on the freeway, Claydy got used to being on the bike. But I was cruising around 100km/h for safety.
It took about 1 hour to Tuxtla, the capital of State of Chiapas. We took the route 190 to Arriaga, then Tonala. From Tonala, Paredon is 13km away. Here we are again. It's been a month since I left here.
I parked my GS at the garden of Claydy's place and soon we had a talk with her parents.
The decision of her parents is.... we need to get married if we want to go trip together.... It is realy heavy condition. If I could speak better Spanish, I could probably persuade her parents....
Well, but as parents, they want to make sure that I will take care of her whole the way. I can understand their feelings.
As we talked, her dad was making jokes and we got along better and better.
In the late afternoon, I took my GS to her uncle'S place to store safely. As I rode the GS in the village, I drew everyone's atention in the village. Now I am kinda a famous person. I am a bit embarassed.
We talked in hte evening as well. The conditions I have are pretty tight. I do not have much time if I want to make it to the boat from Panama to Colombia. The ship is leaving on 16 Feb, so I have only 3 weeks. One of her anty said it will take 8 working days or more to get the marriage application got through and this is the case for between Mexicans. So for our case, it will take much longer to process. I can change the date for the ship, but I cannot to make any plan for the trip now....

Well, but as parents, they want to make sure that I will take care of her whole the way. I can understand their feelings.
As we talked, her dad was making jokes and we got along better and better.
In the late afternoon, I took my GS to her uncle'S place to store safely. As I rode the GS in the village, I drew everyone's atention in the village. Now I am kinda a famous person. I am a bit embarassed.
We talked in hte evening as well. The conditions I have are pretty tight. I do not have much time if I want to make it to the boat from Panama to Colombia. The ship is leaving on 16 Feb, so I have only 3 weeks. One of her anty said it will take 8 working days or more to get the marriage application got through and this is the case for between Mexicans. So for our case, it will take much longer to process. I can change the date for the ship, but I cannot to make any plan for the trip now....

カサカサが満室になりました！しかし、カタオカさん、Nao、ワシは明日出てしまいます。
朝クライディーがメキシコシティからバスで到着。バスターミナルまで迎えに行きます。
急遽ワシと旅をすることに再度考え直したそうです。でもまた突発的だな！
とりあえず日中はヘルメットを買いに行ったり結構忙しかったです。
今日サンクリ最後なのでみんなでアルゼンチン・ステーキのD10Sに行ってきました。
ステーキは150ペソから270ペソとメキシコでは超高目。ワシはトップクオリティーのBifet de Chorizo270ペソをいただきました。かなりの奮発ですがおいしかったぁ！！アルゼンチンに行ったらこんな美味い肉が安いんだろうなぁ。残念ながら誰もカメラを持っていかなかったので、写真なし！
さて、明日は朝カタオカさんとNao(二人はシェラ：Xelaに行きます）を見送ったあと出発の準備です。クライディーの実家パレドンへ。まだご両親の了解を得てないとの事で（ワシと旅に行くのに）2人でご両親を説得に行きます。しばらくネット環境がなくなるのでブログアップできないかもです。

The hostel Casa Kasa is full now! But Kataoka-san, Nao and I will leave here tomorrow.
Clay has arrived at San Cristobal in the morning. She suddenly decided to go to a trip with me, but it was really too sudden!! SHe hasn't got a permission from her parents, so we have to go to Paredon tomorrow to talk to her parents.
As it will be the last night here in San Cristobal, we went tohave Argentina Steak - Asado at D10S in Cenro. The steak costs from MX$150 to MX$270 dependin on the quality of meat. I had Bifet de Chorizo, the top quality meat and it was sooooo yummy!!!! It's expensive but the money was well spent I reckon. But in Argentina, those good meats will be much much cheaper. I cannot wait to go to Argentina!
Tomorrow after seeing off Kataoka-san and Nao (going to Xela), Claydy and I will pack up stuffs and go to Paredon. I may be not able to connect to Internet for a while, so there may be no update on my blog for a while.
