ドロールの友人カリカさんは今は引退されていますが、医師だったのでワシのレントゲン写真を見てもらったところ、「大したこと無いよ。10日したらギブス外してリハビリだね。医者に行く必要も無いんじゃないかな。」と週末に仰っていました。昨晩は肘を骨折してから10日、なので勝手にギブスを外してみました!

Carika - the friend of Dolor is a retired medical doctor and he saw the x-rays of my elbow. He reckoned the fracture was the outer layer of the born and it would not be necessary to see another doctor to check. So the last night it passed 10days since the crush, so I took off the bandage and the casting!

Well, there were some bruises...

















痛々しいですが、痛みはあまりありません。しかし動かし方により、痛いときも有ります。しばらくあまり負担をかけないようにリハビリですね。早くエスペランサに乗りたい!!!
It looks painful but it doesn't hurt much. But depending on haw I move the arm, sometimes it gets painful. I need to be paitient. Gradually I need to do a rehabilitation and get back the strength on my right arm. I really want to ride my GS!!

今日は曇り。昼飯を食べに行きがてら街を散歩です。今日はビーチ沿いではなく一本奥の「ブラジル通り（Av. Brasil)」を歩きます。早速スーパー発見。スーパーのパン屋さんでブラジル特産のチーズパン「Pão de queijo」とクリーム入りドーナッツを買いました。

It was overcasted whole day today. I went out to the town for lunch. I walked on "Avenida Brasil" - the street 1 block behind the beach. I found a supermarket "BIG" and bought some cheese breads and a cream donut. 

どちらも美味い!!　チーズパンはモチモチしてて食感がたまらない。シドニーのシュハスカリアでも食べられるんですが、肉ばっかり食べてしまい、あまりチーズパンまで手が回らなかったんですね。今日は4つも食べました。幸せ。ドーナッツもクリームが本物のカスタードクリームなので美味い!　ブラジルのパンはレベルが高いです。全部で4レアル（2米ドルちょい）。あ、写真撮るの忘れました。

I like Brazilian chiiese bread. It was available at the "Churrascaria" in Darlinghurst, Sydney, but at that time I only had some as I was too full eating meats!! Today I bought 4 of them. I indulged myself wth those. The cream donut was excellent. The cream was "real" custard cream and dough was good too. The quality of breads in Brazil is really good. They cost only R$4 (Around US$2).

ブラジル通りを北上します。復活祭「イースター（Páscoa）」が来週なので街にはウサギのデコレーションが。オーストラリアでもそうですが、ウサギと卵がイースターの象徴。「復活」なので、多産と生命を現しています。

I walked on Av. Brasil northwards. There were lots of bunnies on the street as Easter is on next week. As in Australia, bunnies and eggs are the symbols of Easter here in Brail.

2時間半くらい散歩してました。家に戻ったら、流石に疲れていたのか、いつの間にか昼寝してました。

I walked for 2 and half hours. Back home, I got really tired and fell in asleep.

夜になりドロールとアンジェラといつもの如くテラスで夕食。今日は日本、ブラジル、オーストラリアの労働環境について。ブラジルでは年間1ヶ月の有給休暇があり、残業手当は最初の2時間が通常の給料の1.75倍でそれ以降は2倍。政府がしっかり管理していて、タイムカードならず、出勤時に指紋をシステムに読み込ませ、労働省(?)にデータが発信されているとか。産休は4ヶ月まで政府が給料を保障してくれるそうです。労働者のプライベートな時間の確保がしっかり出来るようになっています。女性も出産後仕事を続けやすくなっており、会社も出産後辞めてしまうことも少ないから人材に投資するようになります。

In the evening, I had dinner wih Dolor & Angela as usual. We talked about the working conditions of Japan, Brazil and Australia. In Brazil, there is 1 month paid leave, over time payment would be 1.75 times of the normal wadge for the first 2 hours, then double paid onwards. The Government takes it seriously on over time and there is a system to scan the employees finger prints at the begining and the end of the work. The information sent to the office of ministry of labour (?) and they are monitoring it. Matenity leave is 4 months and the salary is garantied by the Government. The workers can have more private time and it would be easier for employees to return to their works after thir maternity leaves. So the companies can invest more on those valuable employees as they are less likely to quit the jobs after having births.  

ブラジルは「発展途上国」だとワシも思っておりましたが、労働環境、すくなくとも法律はオーストラリアと同等かそれ以上に労働者を保護していますね。実際は地域、業種などで差があるのでしょうけど、ドロールとアンジェラの会社ではしっかり労働基準を守っているとか。ブラジルのＧＤＰは現在世界第6位と経済大国でもあります。

Before I visited Brazil, I thought Brazil was a "developing country" but recently making lots of progress. But comparing to Australia, the working conditions, at least the laws, are equal to more even more protective of those workers. In the reality there would be lots of differences depending on the areas and industories, the company of Dolor and Angela is doing business in accordance with the regulations and laws. Now Brazil is the 6 largest economy in the world.

ワシは日本の労働環境については自分が日本にいないので実際のところは分っていないかもれませんが、兄や友人に聞いたり、読んだりして把握しているつもりです。ここ数年で大分日本の労働環境も善くなって来たとはいえ、まだまだ残業の問題、有給休暇が取りにくい、産休後の仕事復帰がしづらいなどなどとても「先進国」とは言えない環境です。少し古い見方なのかもしれませんが、日本の多くの企業が、「寿退社」する女性社員には「投資」しない傾向がありますよね。これは実に企業にとっても社員にとってももったいないことなのです。最近は大きく改善されていることを望みますが。

I am not sure if I have a clear picture of the working conditions in Japan as I have not been there for long time, but I heard from my brother, my friends and read articles, so I think I have some idea. It gets much better in past few years, but the working conditions in Japan are still not the standard of a "Developed Country". There are problems on over time, difficulties to have paid leaves, difficulties to return to the works after the maternity leaves etc. I could be wrong as my conception could be outdated, but there is a tendency of companies not to invest to female employees as much as male employees and female employees tend to quit their works after marriage or having births.  If tihs trend still goes on in Japan, it would be a huge loss to the companies as well as the employees. I hope the situation gets much better now a days.

出産後の仕事復帰できる環境を整えれば、有益な人材の確保につながりますし、また「人材」が主な資源である日本であるからこそ、世界に魁て実践していかなければいけないことなんじゃないでしょうか。

If there are conditons make those employees return to the works eaiser, the companies could retain the valuable work forces and they could invest in them further. As Japan is luck of natural resources, our main resource is "human resource". That is why Japan needs to apply better working conditions to foster better human resource to compete world wide and make the workers happier.

などなど、ドロールとアンジェラと歓談。

ドロールが「Fazedores de Chuva」にも書きましたが、われわれが会話の主題にしたのは、「何故幸福を生活のために犠牲にしなければいけないのか?」なのです。幸福になるために我々は生活（仕事も含む）していると思うのですが、現代社会、特に日本社会ではその幸福を削って生活しているように思えてなりません。

As Dolor wrote on the home page of "Fazedores de Chuva", the main topic of our discussion today was "Why happiness needs to pay the bill?" To get happiness, we keep on living (including working), I suppose. But in this modern world, especially in the society of Japan, people are living at the expense of "Happiness".

この状況・風潮を変えていくには「誰かが」一歩を踏み出さなければいけません。しっかりとした個人主義が確立しておらず、「右へ倣え」主義の日本社会では実践しにくいかもしれませんが、我々旅人やこのブログの読者さんたちが一歩を踏み出すことで、日本変革への波が1つ生まれるのだと信じています。

In oder to change this situation, "someone" must make a first step forward. As there is no solid "Individualism" and there is the "everyone follows one direction" mode in Japan, it would be hard to take a step forward. But I believe us "travellers" and those reading this could make a first step and create a wave of the revolution to Japan.

Day 607: 2012年3月26日

Balneário Camboriú (La Casa do Dolor&Angela)

午前中は走行記録製作に没頭。ようやく今までの走行記録をGoogle map上にアップできました。メイン画面の写真の下のメニューの一番右に「Map」とありますので、そこから開けます。ご覧下さい。あと、ページの右端の「フリーエリア」に現在位置を載せています。併せてご覧下さい。

I was updating my route onGoogle map in the morinng. I finally caught up with the current location, Balneário Camboriú, Brazil. Please have a look at the routes from "Map" at the top menu. Also I added the Google map plug-in to show where I am now at the right side of the page.

家で昼飯を食べて、しばらくしてからバルネアリオ・カンボリウの街を散歩に出かけました。今日は埠頭のある方へ歩いてみました。

After having lunch at home, I went for a walk. I waled the aling side of the beach of Balneário Camboriú, and today I headed to a wharf.

















なんと、あのサルバドール・ダリの名を冠したマンションがあります。が、改修中。どんだけ奇抜なマンションが見れるかな?と期待したんですが・・・。

There was an apartment named "Salvador Dali", but it was under renovation. The design of the building should be very unique, I hope.






































ビーチ沿いの道には日本食(?)レストランが何軒かあります。「明治」と「EDOMAE」です。ちょっと試しに食べてみたいけど、値段が張りそうですね。

There are some Japanese (?) restautant along side of the beach. Restaurant "Meiji" and "EDOMAE". I wanted to try but it would be very expensive to have ameal there.

































桟橋から。釣りをしている人が何人かいました。仕掛けのサイズを見ると、かなりの大物を狙っているようです。釣れているのかな？

Day 606: 2012年3月25日

Balneário Camboriú (La Casa do Dolor&Angela)

今日は日曜日。ドロールが「シュハスコを焼くぞ!」と。アルゼンチンにアサードがあるように、ブラジルにはシュハスコが有ります。海外でもブラジル式焼肉「シュハスコ（チュラスコ）」の食べ放題レストランは人気ですが、実はワシまだブラジルの「シュハスカリア(Churrascaria)=シュハスコ屋」に行ったことがないんです。シドニーでは何回も、パラグアイのイグアス移住区で1回行きましたが。

なので、ブラジルでシュハスコなんです、今日。さてどんな具合に焼きあがるのでしょうか?　楽しみです。

It's Sunday. Dolor aid "I am going to make "Churrasco"!!" As Argentine has "Asado", Brazil has "Churrasco". Outside of Brazil, I guess Brazilianstyle BBQ "CHurrasco" buffet restautants are popular. I have been to "Churrascaria" in Sydney many times and once n Colonia Yguazu in Paraguay, but I haven't been to any in Brazil as yet. So it would be my first "Churrasco" in Brazil. I am looking forward having it!

































アルフレッドさんとジアナさんも来て皆で歓談しながら肉が焼けるのを待ちます。アルフレッドさんとジアナさんのワンちゃん。賢いです。

Alfredo and Giana came to visit us! We had a chat and waited for the meats to be BBQed. Isn't she adorable!?

そして、美味い!!　アルゼンチンのアサードもいいけど、ブラジルのシュハスコもいいですね!　肉を大量に食べられて幸せです。

Everyone enjoyed Churrasco! Excelent job, Dolor. I was happy to have lots of good meats!

















昼飯後はアルフレッドさんと日本について会話。彼は若い頃15年以上も日本人の師匠から空手を習っていたとか。すごく日本文化に憬れていて、日本贔屓な方なんです。「そろそろ日本ではサクラの季節ですよ。」というと、「是非見てみたいものだ。日本の伝統は素晴らしい!」とアルフレッドさん。

After lunch, with Alfredo, we taked about Japan. He learnt Karate for more than 15 years when he was young from a Japanese sensei, and he is fond of Japaese culture. I said that it would be a "Cherry Blossom" season in Japan soon, and he said he would like to be there.

ドロールはジャーナリストのロブソンからの質問をワシが英語で答えたのをポルトガル語に翻訳作業。ただただ言葉をそのまま訳すのではなく、ワシが思っていること、伝えたいことをなるべく的確にロブソンに伝えたい、といｊ間をかけての作業。ロブソンもチェが好きなので、ワシの日本に対する想いとか、革命活動についても答えたので、結構文章にするのは難しいですね。「この記事は日本を変えるだけで無く、ブラジルにも影響を与えるよ。」とドロール。ここまで親身になってくれるドロール、感謝感謝です。

Dolor was translatng my e-mail to the journalist Robson into Portguese. He said he was not just translating the words, he would like to convey "feelings" of my thoughts and ideas to Robson and the public who might read the article. Dolor said "This might not only change Japan but Brazil as well!" He put so much efforts for me. I am glad to have suh a wonderful friend.   

夕方まで珈琲やお菓子をつまみながら話が弾むのでした。

We had cups of coffee and snacks until in the evening.

6時過ぎにバルネナリオ・カンボリウ（Balneário Camboriú）のマンションに戻って来ました。今は波の音を聴きながら日記を書いている、三郎でした。

We came back to the apartment n Balneário Camboriú. Now I ma hearing the sea waves and writing this diary.

Day 605: 2012年3月24日

Itajai (Farm house of Dolor&Angela)

さて、今日はドロール&アンジェラの家族が勢ぞろいです。朝から賑やか。

Today, saturday, all of Doloseir&Agela's famiy member gathered here at the farm house frohm the morning. It got realy livey.

別荘は外に出ると、こんな感じです。

The outside of the farm house is like below:

















プールに、

A swiming pool,

















魚がいっぱいいる池に、

A pond full of fish,

















鶏小屋に、

A chicken hut,


















ウサギ小屋に、

A rabbit hut,



















鳥小屋に、（なんとオーストラリア原産のオカメインコ"CocKatiel"も居ます）

そして山羊も!!

ここ別荘では動物盛りだくさんです。

There are lots of animals in this farm!

昼飯は山羊のローストがメイン。ドロールが切り分けてくれます。肉が柔らかくて美味い!!

At lunch time, roasted goat was served by Dolor. The goat was jucy and tender. Yum.

































昼飯後は珈琲を飲みながら歓談。

We had cups of coffee after lunch and had a chat.

午後は地図の編集をしたり。エクアドル、ペルー、ボリビアとチリ北部をアップしました。

In the afternoon, I updated maps of Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia & Northern Chile.

夕暮れ時にペドロとペドロの友達オクタビオが釣りを始めました。瞬く間に6匹のティラピアをキャッチ!!　から揚げにします。

Around the dusk, Pedro and his friend Octavio started fishing at the pond. They caught 6 tilapia i half an hour!! We deep fried them.

夜はドロールと色々歓談。日本とブラジルの現状について、将来について。ドロール曰く、「ここで休養している間に自分の意見をまとめて本でも書いた?」と。そうですね、ここでのんびりしている時間の有効利用ですね。今はこのブログをより多くの人に読んでもらうために色々改良したりしてますが、まだまだやれることはいっぱい有りますね。ドロールの忠告、いいかもしれません。

In the evening, I talked with Dolor about the current situations of Japan and Brazil, and the future prospects and threats of those two. Dolor suggested me to write a book about my revolutionary opinions and thoughts while I ma resting here. Well, it is a good idea to maximise the time here. Now I am makng this blog better in order to attract more readers so that I can convey my thoughts to the wider public. But I could do better and the suggestion from Dolor would be the one solution.

これからも日本改革についての意見をこのブログに記載していきたいと思います。皆さんの意見・感想をもっといただけたら、と思っております。よろしくお願いいたします。

I will post my opinions and thoughts more on this blog. I hope I will receive more responses from you guys.

Day 604: 2012年3月23日

Itajai (Farm house of Dolor&Angela)
58,913km to 58,917km = 4km (ridden by Dolor)

今日はカナダ、アメリカ合衆国、メキシコ、中央アメリカ諸国（グアテマラ、エル・サルバドール、ホンデュラス、ニカラグア、コスタ・リカ、パナマ）、コロンビアの走行記録を「Map」にアップしました。ご覧下さい。

I updated the maps of Canada, USA, Mexico, Central America (Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama), and Colombia under the menu "Map". Please have a look!

午後になり、ドロールが迎えに来てくれました。エスペランサを取りに行くためです。友達のカリカさんも一緒です。カリカさんは来月か再来月辺りにアラスカのプルード・ベイを目指してバイクで北上する予定。

In the afternoon, Dolor came to pick me up to go to the workshop together. He had his friend Carika with him. Carika is heading to Prudhoe Bay Alaska next month or so on his motorcycle! 

修理屋さんに行くと、エスペランサは既に仕上がってました。エンジンはセル一発で始動。問題は無さそうです。流石エスペランサ。ワシより早く復活です。

At the workshop, Esperanza was waiting for me. Just one push of the cell, she started up the engine! There seemed no problem at all. Well done. She was repaired before I heal my fracture.

















クラッシュ・バーの曲がりは完璧に治せなかったそうですが（曲がりを修正すると、ねじ山が取り付け本体と合わなくなるため）、パニア、デフューザー、BMWのマークはキレイに修復されました!　オイル漏れもシリンダーヘッドが軽く割れていたので溶接で修復。この作業でなんと370レアル（200米ドル）。これは安い!

According to the mechanic, the bend of the crush bar could not be fixed as if he tried to pull back the bar in the right position, the mounting of the bar and the bike would not match. But, the pannier, the difuser, and the BMW badge were repaired! There was no oil leaking from the cylinder head. There was a little crack on the cylinder head, so he welded it. It cost me R$3700 (US$200). A bargain!

















































ワシの右腕はまだギブスで固定されているので、ドロールが家までエスペランサを運転します。車はカリカさんが運転。エスペランサが走る姿を見るのは初めてかも!
As my right arm was still in the casting, Dolor rode Esperanza home. Carika droved the car. It would be the first time to see someone riding Esperanza!














家に戻ると、ドロールが「週末は別荘で過ごすから、手荷物だけ持って行くよ!」と。早速身の周りの物だけ持って車に乗り込みます。

Back home, Dolor told me that we would be spending the weekend at his farm house, so I packed up what I would need for a few days and hopped on his car.

別荘は街から15分ほど車で行ったところ（この間来た建設現場から少し行ったところ）に有ります。40ヘクタールの土地に、30頭の牛、鶏と鴨の小屋、池、プール、家庭菜園などなど、そしてもちろん家があります。凄いな。到着したときは既に暗かったので外の写真はプールの写真しかありませんが。

Around 15mins drive from the town, we got to the farm house (a litle further from the construction sight I visited last time). On 40 hectare land, there are around 30 cows, a chicken and duck shed, a pond, a swimming pool, a garden to grow vegies and herbs, and a house. As it was already dark when we got there, I have only a photo of swimming pool.

















屋内にはビリヤード・テーブルも有ります。なんとここには今までに17人ものライダーが招かれたそうです。ドロールとアンジェラの気前の良さ、心の広さに感服します。

There was a pool table inside the house. So far 17 motorcycles have been invited and have stayed this place. How generous Dolor & Angela are!! 

















夕食を皆で食べて、今日もイイ一日でした。

We had dinner together. It was another good day!
