Bornheim to Frankfurt - Germany (Frankfurt Hostel)

今朝は日の出前にフランクフルトに向けて出発。出発前にエスペランサに挨拶。5ヶ月くらい離れ離れになりますが、来年の春からユーラシア大陸横断お冒険が待ってます。それまで!!
Friedel gave me a life with His Chevolet Camaro to Frankfurt this morning. Before we left, I went to se Esperanza and had a moment with her. We will be apart of 5months or so but from next spring, across Eurasia continent will start! Till then, my partner, be good!!!
流石に日の出前は寒いですね。ジーラは元気ですけどね。
It was really cold before sunrise. Sira was very energetic though.
で、今日はフレッドの愛車シボレー・カマロでフランクフルトまで送ってもらえることに!! なんと600馬力以上!!!
HIs Camaro has more than 600hps!!!
ドイツの高速道路「アウトバーン(Autobahn）」は無料ですし、速度制限がない区間もあるんです。流石車生産大国のドイツですね。カマロの加速力、これはもすさまじい!! 今朝の最高速度は230キロでした。
Autobahn has no speed limit section, and Friedel showed me the acceralation of Camaro!! It was amazing. The top speed of this morning was 230km/h. Of course, it can go much faster.
フランクフルト手前で結構な雨が・・・。前回もフランクフルトは雨でしたね。なんか因縁でもあるんですかね。
It started to rain hard before Frankfurt. It was raining last time when I got here. I don't know why it is always raning...
9時過ぎにはフランクフルトに到着。フレッド本当にありがとう!!! また来年の春に再会だね。それまで元気で!!!
We got to Frankfurt just after 9am. Thank you so so much Fridel!!! I will come back next spring!!!
早速前回も泊まった宿「Frankfurt Hostel」にチェックイン。
I checked-in at "Frankfurt Hostel" where I stayed last time.
なんで見所も少ないフランクフルトに戻ってきたか、といいますと、ここである人と再会を果たすためなんです。
You might wonder why I came back to Frankfurt where has no much to see. Well, I am going to catch up with my friend here.
その人はコロンビアのメデジンで出会ったトシさん。もうかれこれ1年半以上たちますが、ちょくちょく連絡を取り合ってきたんです。彼とはここでワシの帰国後の具体的な計画を話し合う予定。
He is Toshi who I met in Medellin, Colombia. It's been more 1 year and half, but we have been contacting with mails and Facebook quite often. We are planing to talk about what I would actually do once I return to Japan.
トシさんはウクライナのキエフからフランクフルトに到着。メールでいろいろ話し合って来ましたが、細かい話や文章では伝えにくいことは直接会って話すのが一番、ということで今回の再会を実現させました。
Toshi arrived from Iev, Ukraine. We have discussed so many things before but it would be much better to talk directly face to face.
昼過ぎから夜中まで熱い談義を交わしました。内容はまだ公開できませんが。
After lunch, we started to talk and talk till late in the evening... Well, the contents of our discussion cannot be discosed at this stage.
明日もトシさんとの会談の続行です。2日しかないのに、話すことがありすぎです。
We will have 1 more day to have discussions. We have to cover so many topics.
告知: もしかしたら、イスタンブールに到着するまで2日ほどブログの更新が無いかもしれません。
I might not be able to update the blog for a few days until I get to Istanbul, Turkey.

本帰国まで気付けばあと1年くらいしかないのですね。日本改革に向けて、具体的に帰国後どのような活動をするのかしっかりと計画を建てる時が来ました。トシさんという盟友とこの時点で再会できたのも「縁」ですね。これからも邁進していきます。

Day 788: 2012年9月23日
Bornheim - Germany (Das Haus von Friedel)

さて、昨晩の話からしたいと思います。
I went out to Cologne last evening with Friedel and his mates.
土曜の夜のケルンは賑やか。
Saturday night in Cologne was really busy.
先ずは腹ごしらえ。
We had some snacks first before heading to a bar.
そしてバーに。参加メンバーはフレッド（写真撮ってる）、（左から）ハインツ(1)、ハインツ（2)、ワシ、ヴィルフレッド、そしてアーノルド。チーム・ボーンハイムです。
We went into Einstein Bar. The member were Friedel (taking the photo), Heinz (1), Heinz (2), me, WIllfried, and Arnold. TWe are eam Bornheim.
それにしても凄い人数が狭いバーの名中ひしめいてます。ウェイトレスたちは人混みをかき分けながら飲み物を運んでいくんですけど、グラスが落ちないようにお盆にはちゃんとグラスが窪みに納まるようになってるんです。そして掌でお盆を持つのではなく、ちゃんとそこに穴があいてて、そこに手を入れてしかりとグリップできる仕組み。
The small bar was packed with crowd of people.Those waiters had to bring drinks through the crowd, so their treys had a clever design. The treys have holders to put glasses securely. Also underneath of the treys have a grip, so the waiters could carry them through the crowd without dropping / spilting.
コロンのビールグラスは小さいんです。ミュンヘンでは1リットルのジョッキで飲んでましたが、小さいグラスで冷えた奴をちょいちょい飲むのがケルンのスタイル。
Beer is served in a small glass in Cologne. Unlike in Bayern, to have many of cold beer in a small glass is Colognian style!
何杯くらい飲みましたかねぇ。1時間半の間にみんな10杯は飲んだんじゃないかな? ワシもコーラ・ライトをこれでもか、ってくらい飲みましたからね。何回トイレに行ったことか。
I wonder how many glasses each of them had... Maybe 10 glasses each... I also had many glasses of Cola Lght and needed to go to toilet many times.
それからダンスバーに。ここは、まぁ、クラブなんですけど、若者からお年寄りまでみんな楽しんで踊ってるんですね。これは面白い。
Then, we went to "Tanzbar (DanceBar)". There were many from young to old people enjoying dancng. It was nice to see all generations having one at one place!
さっき結構飲んだのに、10リッターくらいのビール樽を注文しているチーム・ボーンハイム。ぐびぐび飲んでます。まぁ、帰りはワシが運転するから、気にしないで飲んで、飲んで!!
Team Bornheim ordered 10Ltr of beer in a barrel. They kept drnking!! No worries, mates! I am gonna drive you guys home safely!!
早朝3時過ぎまでダンスバーで楽しんでました。こんな感じで!!!
We had fun there until 3am!! Just like that!!!
あ、ワシ、酔っ払っているように見えますけど、全く飲んでないんで。
Well, I might look drank, but I wasn't. I did not drink any drop of alchole.
外では乱闘騒ぎがあり警察が出動して騒いでる兄ちゃんたちを逮捕。写真を撮りたかったのですが、バッテリー切れ!!
When we came outside, some youngs wer fighting in the plaza! Police quickly came in and arrested them!! I wanted to take a photo, but the battery was flat...
流石のチーム・ボーンハイムも結構出来上がってます。飲んだ後は吉野屋の牛丼、は無いので魚フライのサンドイッチなんかを食べたりして駐車場へ。
Now all member of eam Bornheim were pretty much done. We had some snacks and went to the car park.
飲んでないワシも睡魔と闘いながら、ベンツのバンを運転しみんなを家に届けたのでした。
I was very sleepy but managed to send all home safely!
寝たのは朝6時半ごろ・・・。
I went to slep around 6:30am...
なので今日は昼頃に起床。なんとフレッドは9時に起きて仕事へ・・。タフすぎるよフレッド。
So I got up just before noon today. Friedel woke up at 9am and went to work!! You are very tough man, Fridel!!
日中はパッキングや冬の間保管してもらう荷物の整理。
I was paking and sorting out of luggages to be stored here during this winter.
夕方はヴィルフレッドの家族とフレッドと地中海料理屋で夕飯。ニンニクと炒めたえ海老が美味い。
In the evening, I went to have diner at a Mediterrenian Restaurant withFridel, Willfried and his fmily.
子羊、ハンバーグ、チキン、豚のグリル。うーん、食べすぎですね。
The Mediterrenian mixed grills!! I had too much!!!
明日はフレッドがフランクフルトまで送ってくれます。本当に感謝です。
Tomorrow morning, Fridel will give me a ride to Frankfurt! Thanks mi amigo!!

Day 787: 2012年9月22日
Bornheim - Germany (Das Haus von Friedel)

夜はかなり冷え込みましたね。九月後半ともなると、ここら辺は北緯50度なのでもう秋なんですねぇ。
It got really cold last night. It's late September already. Here is N50°. Well autumn has arrived already.
寒いなぁ、なんて思いながら起きたら、雨です・・・。昨日のうちに到着できてよかった。
I woke up but I did not want get out from the bed as it was really cold. No wonder, it was raining... Lunckily I arrrived here yesterday when the weather was better.
今日はフレッドのお母さんの家で朝食をいただくので、フレッド、マイカ、ジーラと出かけます。あ、カマロでじゃなくてアウディで、です。
We, Fridel, Maike, Sira and I, went to Friedel's mum's place to have breakfast.
お母さんと愛犬のトリクシィに熱く出迎えられました。「よく無事に戻ってきたね!!（多分。ドイツ語なので雰囲気で会話をするワシ等）」、とお母さん。
His mum and her dog Trixy welcame me!! They are always nice to me.
トリクシィも相変らず元気イッパイ!!
Trixy was very energetic as usual!!
12時ごろまで皆で食事をしながら歓談。前回コロンでミットサンドイッチをいただきましたが、家庭でも生の豚ひき肉とハーブなどを混ぜたものを、普通にパンに塗って食べるんですね。他の肉を生食しているのを見たことは無いですけれど、ダルムシュトゥットの駅でもミット・サンドイッチを売ってましたし（ワシの前のおじさんが買ってました）、ドイツで生肉が一般的に食べられているのは、とても興味深いです。（写真は以前食べたミットサンドイッチ）
We had breakfast and chatting till noon. I had mitt sandwitch (row pork mince sandwitch) in Cologne last time, but I was surprised to see it was serviced at home!! I did not think that German eat raw meat at all. It seems to be very popular here (I saw it was sold at Darmstadt station anda guy in front of me bought one).
家に帰る前にスーパーに寄ってもらい、ワセリンと塩素を購入。「えっ、ワセリンと塩素で何をするの?」って思うでしょ。
Before we went home, I asked to make a stop at a supermarket. I bought Vaseline and Chlorine. You might wonder what I would do with Vaseline and Chlorine?
塩素はキャメルバックを洗浄するために、そしてワセリンは・・・
I use Chlorine to clean my Camelback and I use Vaseline for...
エスペランサに塗るんです!!

まぁ、錆び止めですね。
Well, it will act as an unti-rust agent.
家に帰り早速、エスペランサを洗車。
Back home, I washed Esperanza.
そしてワセリンを塗り塗り。フレームのこの部分はペンキにひびが入ってるんです。何かの負荷がかかって、フレームがたわむのでしょうか? ちょっと錆が浮いているので、ワセリンを塗り塗り。
Then I applied Vaseline where could be rusted during the storage. I found some cracks of paint on the frame. I wondered how it happened? I guessed the right pannier was too heavy and too much stress was on the frame.

そしてバッテリーを外して冬眠準備完了!!
Then I took off the battery from Esperanza and she was ready for hibernation!
ガレージはフレッドのドゥカティーとカマロが冬眠するので、エスペランサはコテージの軒下で冬眠することに。
As Friedel's garage would be full in the winter (storing his Ducati and Camaro), so I put Esperanza under the eaves of his hut.
来年の3月まで、良い子にしてるんだよ。
I will see you next March, Esperanza. Till then be good!!

Bornheim - Germany (Das Haus von Friedel)

夜はかなり冷え込みましたね。九月後半ともなると、ここら辺は北緯50度なのでもう秋なんですねぇ。
It got really cold last night. It's late September already. Here is N50°. Well autumn has arrived already.
寒いなぁ、なんて思いながら起きたら、雨です・・・。昨日のうちに到着できてよかった。
I woke up but I did not want get out from the bed as it was really cold. No wonder, it was raining... Lunckily I arrrived here yesterday when the weather was better.
今日はフレッドのお母さんの家で朝食をいただくので、フレッド、マイカ、ジーラと出かけます。あ、カマロでじゃなくてアウディで、です。
We, Fridel, Maike, Sira and I, went to Friedel's mum's place to have breakfast.
お母さんと愛犬のトリクシィに熱く出迎えられました。「よく無事に戻ってきたね!!（多分。ドイツ語なので雰囲気で会話をするワシ等）」、とお母さん。
His mum and her dog Trixy welcame me!! They are always nice to me.
トリクシィも相変らず元気イッパイ!!
Trixy was very energetic as usual!!
12時ごろまで皆で食事をしながら歓談。前回コロンでミットサンドイッチをいただきましたが、家庭でも生の豚ひき肉とハーブなどを混ぜたものを、普通にパンに塗って食べるんですね。他の肉を生食しているのを見たことは無いですけれど、ダルムシュトゥットの駅でもミット・サンドイッチを売ってましたし（ワシの前のおじさんが買ってました）、ドイツで生肉が一般的に食べられているのは、とても興味深いです。（写真は以前食べたミットサンドイッチ）
We had breakfast and chatting till noon. I had mitt sandwitch (row pork mince sandwitch) in Cologne last time, but I was surprised to see it was serviced at home!! I did not think that German eat raw meat at all. It seems to be very popular here (I saw it was sold at Darmstadt station anda guy in front of me bought one).
家に帰る前にスーパーに寄ってもらい、ワセリンと塩素を購入。「えっ、ワセリンと塩素で何をするの?」って思うでしょ。
Before we went home, I asked to make a stop at a supermarket. I bought Vaseline and Chlorine. You might wonder what I would do with Vaseline and Chlorine?
塩素はキャメルバックを洗浄するために、そしてワセリンは・・・

Well, it will act as an unti-rust agent.
家に帰り早速、エスペランサを洗車。
Back home, I washed Esperanza.
そしてワセリンを塗り塗り。フレームのこの部分はペンキにひびが入ってるんです。何かの負荷がかかって、フレームがたわむのでしょうか? ちょっと錆が浮いているので、ワセリンを塗り塗り。

Day 786: 2012年9月21日
Munich to Bornheim - Germany (Das Haus von Friedel)
83,417km to 83,981km = 564km
さて、今日は忙しい!! 朝7時に起きて、8時前には宿を出ます。何故かというとエスペランサを預けているイナが10時には出かけてしまうので、それまでに出発の準備を整えないといけないのです。
I was busy from the morning. I got up at 7am and left the hostel before 8am. I had to get ready to leave Ina'S place by 10am, but I had to do lots to make Esperanza ready.
8時半過ぎにイナ宅に到着。ライダー・ジャケットとパンツ、ブーツに着替えて、エスペランサのバッテリーをつなげたり、荷物を積んだり。荷物の配置換えが結構大変。
I got to Ina's place just after 8:30am. I got changed to riding gears, connected the battery of Esperanza, putting luggages on Esperanza etc. Many stuffs needed to be rearranged, so it took a long time.
バックパックや預かってもらっていた荷物も全部積んでいくので、結構大変。9時半過ぎにはなんとか出発の準備が整いました。
I had to put the newly bought backpack and those stuffs I was going to bring back to Japan as well. It took a while to put them all on Esperanza. Finally I was ready after 9:30am.
イナ、色々ありがとね。また、春先にでも。

で、一路フランクフルトより西北180キロにあるボーンハイムを目指します。GPSによると560キロ以上の道のり。うーん、来春からトルコを目指して南下するのに、ドイツの北部まで今から行くのってのはちょっと変ですけれど、確実にエスペランさを安全に越冬出来るのは我が友フレッドの家しかない、と思ったんですね。
Where was heading? It was Bornheim, 180km northwest of Frankfurt. From Munich, according to the GPS, it would be more than 560km away. I was supposed to be heading south down to Turkey next spring, but I was ridning to northern Germany... This sounds really strange, but I could leave Esperanza with Friedel with a confidence.
行程はずっとアウトバーン上なので特に面白いところも無し。ベアリングが新品になったせいでしょうか、いつもより燃費がイイ（1リッターで23.3キロ）。
I rode all the way on Autobahn, so nothing was interesting. One thing I noticed was that the fuel consumption got better probably due to the new rear wheel bearing (23.3km/ltr).
バックパックが背中に当たって、シートの前に方に座っていたので、直ぐにケツが痛くなるんです。なので、途中のガソリンスタンドで、荷物の積み替え。
The backpack was sticking out to my back, so I had to sit on the front of the seat. So my bum started hurt soon. I had to make a stop to rearrange the backpack.
これで、ちゃんとシートに座れるようになった!!
Then I could ride more comfortablly.
フレッド宅には6時半ごろ到着。フレッドはハノーバーに他行中で今夜帰宅するとのことなので、娘さんのマイカと愛犬
のジーラが出迎えてくれました!! 2ヶ月ぶりですね。
I got to Friedel's place around 6:30pm. Fridel was in Hanover, so he was going to be back in he evening.
10時前にフレッドが帰って来たので、皆でジーラを散歩に連れて行きました。歩きながら色々なことを話します。
Friedel came back before 10pm. We went for a walk with Sira. We talked many things while walking.
明日はフレッドのお母さんの家に朝ごはんをいただきに行き、そしてエスペランサの冬眠に備えます。
Tomorrow we will have breakfast at Fridel's mum's. Then I will prepare for Esperanza'S hibernation.

Frankfurt to Munich - Germany (Meininger Hostel)

さて昨晩は予想外のことが起こりまして、急遽ミュンヘンに戻ることになった、三郎です。
Last evening, it was really intense.
バスも昨晩中になんとか予約できて（30ユーロ）、夕方にはミュンヘンに到着予定。後はイナの家に一泊して翌日エスペランサに乗ってフレッドの家まで行く、という計画。
I could make a reservation of a bus to Munich (30 Euros). I should get to Munich by 5pm this afternoon. So all I had to do was spending a night at Ina's place and leaving to Friedel's place next day, that was waht I thought.
バスは11時半の出発なので、朝飯を食べた後ネットをしてると、イナからメッセージが。「今日は用事があって夜中まで戻らない・・・」、と。
The bus was due at 11:30am, so I was spending time at the lounge surfing on Internet. Then I received a message from Ina, saying she would be not home till midnight!!
ガァーーーーーん!!!
Oh no!!!
これはヤバイ。今ミュンヘンは今週末から始まるオクトーバー・フェストに備えて観光客があふれかえっているわけです。なので当然宿もイッパイの可能性が・・・。
That shocked me a lot as Munich should be really busy by now with tonsof toursits coming for Oktoberfest starting this weekend. The most of hostels would be full....
時刻は10時過ぎ。急いで宿の検索にかかります。
It was already after 10am, so I had to be hurry to find a hostel and make a booking.
幸いなことに「Memininger Hostel」でドミに空きがある。1泊28ユーロと少々高いですが、まぁ、背に腹は代えられません。早速予約。
Luckily, I could secure a bed at "Memininger Hostel" near Munich Central Bus Terminal. It cost 28 Euros, little expensive, but I need a bed to sleep on tonight.
更に幸運なことにチェックアウト時に今日の分の宿泊代を返金してくれました。昨晩のレセプションの兄ちゃんには「駄目だ」って言われたんですけどね。
Another good luck I got this morning. Frankfurt Hostel refunded me of the fee for tonight. Last evening, I asked a guy at the reception but he told me the cancellation was too late, so I would not get a refund. But this morning, a gil at the reception said, "no problem, I will make a refund to your credit card." How nice.
で、バスに乗ってミュンヘンまで5時間半。暇なのでBBCの「Wonders of the Universe」を鑑賞。以前にも見ましたが、これは本当に面白い番組です。「私たちの身体を構成している原子は、過去には星の一部だった」って信じられます?
Then, hopped on the bus to Munich. It would take 5hours andhalf to Munich. I was watching theBBC programme "WOnders of the Universe". I had seen the prgramme once, but it was still educational and interesting. Can you believe that al elements constructing our bodies were once parts of stars?
定刻通りバスは16時55分にミュンヘンのセントラル・バス・ターミナルに到着。宿はターミナルから歩いて5分くらいのところですね。あぁ、オガワ君が宿泊していた宿ですね。
The bus arrived Munich on time. The hostel was just 5mins walk away from the terminal. Well, the hostel is the one Ogawa was staying a few days ago.
チェックインして、ちょっと落ち着いてからネットで調べごとをしながらブログを書いているわけです。
After I checked-in, I had a litle rest and I was writing this blog.
夕飯はスーパーで食材を買って自炊。フリーの棚にブロッコリーがあったので、茹でていただきます。うーん、ありがたい。
I went to a supermarket and cooked dinner. There was broccolis on a free shelf, so I boiled them. Having fresh vegies is really good!!
さて、明日は無事エスペランサを受け取って、フレッドの家に行ける事を願います!!
Well, I hope I can pick up Esperanza and ride to Friedel's place safely!!
